I ordered this charging station in the green option, for my Xbox one controllers and it works great. It’s a simple plug and play set up, and it does indeed include multiple different backings for controllers as a nice bonus. The eyes will glow red while it’s in the charging process and will let you know by the eyes turning green to alert you when they’re fully charged, which is fantastic. My kids burn through so many batteries so I am really enjoying this. The robotic charging unit itself looks exactly as it does in the product images by both color and design. I do think it does look like a transformer which is pretty cool too! We really like it and plan to continue using it for however long it lasts us. If any unforeseen issue does happen to arise I’ll return to further update my review!

The charger works very well and charges the batteries pretty quickly from being completely drained. The charger has indicator lights that let you know when the charge is complete by turning from red to green. When both controller batteries are charged the whole face lights up green and while they are charging it's red. I have had other chargers like this that you place the controller on to charge and I have always had issues with getting the controller perfectly positioned but with this one they seem to go right in the spot they need to be in and start charging right away. The USB-C cable that is included is probably longer than it needs to be but it's good to have a little extra length to it just incase. It's really cool that they include battery covers for all the xbox models but I don't know what I'm gonna do with the extra 2. The only issue I have is with the way the batteries go in the controller. The OEM batteries can only be placed in the controller one way so you don't put them in wrong but these ones can go in 2 different ways and it makes it a little confusing if you aren't paying attention. As long as you make sure the side with the contacts are pointed out you should be ok. The batteries themselves last just as long as the OEM batteries and charge just the same.

Picked these up because I grew sick of seeing the pile of 20 rechargeable AA batteries that were all dead next to my kids Xbox gaming chair. I figured this would eliminate one step and maybe his controllers would stay charged. So far, so good! Unlike other rechargeables, this pack is designed to stay in the controller and doesn't need to be removed to be charged. They include new back case covers for your controllers with a little cutout that allows the battery to charge when placed on the included dock. You can tell it is charging when the green light turns red. There are two batteries and two docks so you can charge two controllers at once and ensure you always have a fully charged controller to play with if you just place your controller on this charging station when you are done gaming. The only thing I don't personally love is that the green lights on the dock stay lit all the time. I guess you know it's ready to charge then though. This is a great product though and it has worked perfectly for Xbox one controllers. Very easy to set up, long battery life, quick recharge time, for more nonstop gaming fun.

One of the biggest frustrations I have had with my son and his Xbox is the amount of AA batteries he goes through for his controllers. We have never done well keeping track of AA rechargeable batteries (and their recharger) in our home - so that hasn't been an option - until this Xbox controller charger station. This charger station is stylish and lights up green once it's charged (and red while it's charging). The controllers stay charged for quite a long time (probably 8-10 hours). The station comes with two battery packs AND 2 different types of backs - to fit the different types of backs for these controllers. Perfect for us! The only thing that might be needed is another one IF you have need of more than 2 controllers. A worthwhile investment and a great price.

I picked this up to replace my previous controller charger because the proprietary battery had started to wear out. The rechargeable battery life with this new set up, seems to last us for hours and I’ve yet to kill them during a single place session. I wasn’t expecting much considering the price point, but this is really well made. The controllers rest easily on the charging station and you never have to fiddle around to get it to start charging. The station also comes with a bay to hold the battery packs if you’re only using it for one controller or when I have spare battery packs for additional controllers. Overall, this is a really cool way to effectively charge your Xbox remotes and well worth the price.

Over the last year, my Xbox has really become more my kids than mine, as I never have time to play. So I bought this, as I could easily pretend this was a present "for them"! It's a cool charging station, we didn't have one, so this wasn't an upgrade rather a new addition, but the kids loved it. We could have gone for the plain old one, but this one adds a spicy addition to the corner of the room. Great as a gift.
