The packaging was great. the controller had everything working and was clean. The cables work great (might want to get a converter to HDMI as well). The only thing "wrong" was big scratches on the top and some minorly loose ports, but that kinda stuff is expected from a 20-year-old Xbox. Games run well and work fine. Package arrived early, which was nice, console turned on and worked fine, until it came to reading the discs. The console did not work any further than the home screen, super disappointing. And upon trying to clean the disc scanner, the console was customized so there is no access to this point of the hardware; a part allowing you to go further is missing and replaced with a custom piece that won’t move, meaning if it is broken, its broken. There’s no hope in repairing it yourself. Was looking forward to it but was let down ... show more

Works fine after having to spam the eject disc button for it to turn on. But other than that it’s not giving me any sorts of trouble. The controller was cracked down the middle, and power cord did not fit into console so I had to use a different one. READ THE REVIEWS. I bought this product as a gift for my wife so she could play one of her favorite games that is only on the original Xbox. It did not play any game or DVD, only cd's. I have had to take it to a local gaming store to have them fix the drive in order for it to be used.

I don't think what I ordered was quite worth the price. The console and controller were very clean and packaged very well, but the disc tray opens up whenever I hit the button to insert a disc. Whenever the disc tray stays closed, the console has performed flawlessly thus far. I've only played it for about 2 hours though, so we'll see how this goes. ... show more

Did not know that this thing does not work without the ethernet. Only thing I could do is listen to the bad songs that were down loaded on it already. Crazy thing is I also bought 9 games to go with it and I can't play none of them now. This was hands down the most expensive epic fail I ever experienced on Amazon. ... show more
