Description

The product is designed to protect against wear, restore and repair a power steering booster and other hydraulic equipment. Due to its by 20% greater active agent’s concentration, it offers strong restoration potential to the worn out surfaces and wear protection. During treatment of the hydraulic units the product forms a protective metal-ceramic coating on the surfaces of the titling and actuating mechanisms and switchgears (valve spindles). As a result, the operation characteristics of the hydraulic equipment are restored. Compared to XADO gel-revitalizant for Power Steering Pumps No matter how well a power steering system is maintained, high heat and friction causes metal to become worn, scratched, and deformed over time. The destruction of the surface layer occurs in high-friction areas, where entire groups of atoms – clusters - may tear off under extreme loads. Until now there was no way to reverse this inevitable metal wear. APPLICATION: Treatment of a unit with 1 -2 L hydraulic system capacity Introduce (spray) the contents of a tube (can) in the fluid, which is warmed up to the operating temperature, in the tank of a power steering pump After the revitalizant is applied and the engine is turned on, wait 2-3 minutes and turn the steering wheel for 5 minutes Revitalization is considered complete after the mechanism has been in operation for 50 hours ( 950 miles of run) It is recommended preliminary to dissolve the contents of the can (tube) in small amount (~ 50 ml) of used hydraulic fluid. If the fluid in the tank of a power steering pump is contaminated (opaque or has change its initial color etc.), it is recommended to change hydraulic fluid before application. DOSAGE: Oil System Capacity, L to Number of syringes (8ml), pcs needed: 1-2L = 1 Syringe 2-5L = 2 Syringes 5-8L = 3 Syringes 1GAL = 3.785L 1QT = 0.946L 1PTS = 0.47L

I actually noticed a difference immediately. My 2010 Chevy Avalanche Z71 has 120,000 miles and has always been super reliable. We always perform recommended maintenance schedules and use synthetic oils. Since day one the Powersteering has been noisy... the dealer says it was in spec and had no issues other than a little noisy. Immediately after the XADO treatment, the action was notably smoother and the noise was almost gone. This is an excellent product and worked as advertised for me. I also used the Motor treatment and also noticed almost immediate smoother operating and less noise. Very cool. Read and follow the directions. Don't expect "instant" results. GIVE IT TIME to do its job. Xado products have worked extremely well for me over the many years that I have been using them.

    • Wasn’t a miracle for me
Didn’t work instantly or over the past 100 miles for me. Followed the instructions, new fluid, mix with fluid and then pour in. My issue is not constant, at idle sometimes real tight, but always the ‘howl’. Other commenters had better results, so don’t base solely on my experience.

    • Thicker than steering fluid but looks clean
I added this to my power CHF 11S steering fluid for my Porsche Cayenne 958, so far I have seen some improvement, and all sounds when steering (specially when stationary) have disappeared. But since it states on the bottle instructions that it cannot be added to old steering fluid, I had to replace the original fluid, so I am not sure if the improvement is in reality because of this additive or because of introducing new fluid. It does state that the effect will take some time and to be honest I am not using my Porsche a lot these days. I will try to update the review in a few months. I gave 4 stars because there is an improvement, it looks decent, is well preserved and has clear instructions (which I believe many of the negative reviewers did not take into account). ... show more

    • I have been using Xado products since before they were available in the US
I have been using Xado products since before they were available in the US ... I bought them online from overseas. I have always been happy with them. I have used this on on 2 older vehicles (1996, 1997 and over 250,000 miles on each) and am quite pleased. Steering is tight and responsive on both ... While I really feel it has definitely improved I do not any measurements to prove it. I have also used the gasoline engine revitalizer (in the oil) on both vehicles and will do so periodically. I am very pleased with this as well. I am also going to use the product for gear boxes and transfer cases. I will update as we hit new milestones ... 300,000 ... and more, I hope ... show more

    • I don't understand why this stuff works
I don't understand what this is or why it works 210k on the power steering pump and I started to hear some noises put this in and now I don't. It will probably fail later nothing lasts forever who knows but it's not making noise.

    • Fixed my HONDA CIVIC !!!
2008 Honda Civic, transmission started slipping, vibrating from a dead stop. I did 4 fluid flushes and it didn't fix it. This stuff stopped the slipping and vibration completely. This stuff saved my car !!
