you must be gentle with these bowls. i like how they look and the gold. one has chipped, but the other is still good. they give your dinnerware a fancy/elegant feel. i like to eat my food off fancy plates like this one, it makes it look more appetizing

used for chips at our halloween party. the bowls made it look as if it was broken glass bowls which was a cool piece to the rest of the spooky set up. they are nicely made and the size was exactly what i was looking for.

I absolutely love these bowls. LOVE, with a heart instead of an ‘O’. Whatever you put in them will look crisp and fresh. I kind of like that you get one purple and one clear, but I can see where people would want a set of two that match – so I recommend buying more sets. The size is ample, great for popcorn and chips or mixed veggie and fruit salads. The gold edging is a beautiful touch, and the uneven edge looks very artistic and delicate. The texture of the glass reflects the light so nicely around fresh food. The bottom is flat and wide, so they are larger and hold way more than I expected (though match what the dimensions say). Even when stored, they are so pretty stacked. I am seeing in the images that these are not dishwasher safe, but in the About this item section it says they are. I am going to guess these are not dishwasher safe and err on the side of caution and stick to handwashing. Best case, I think the heat would affect the gold edging, worst case the glass could break in the dishwasher, or right after a cycle when cooling or handling. Clarification on the listing would be great though. I wish there were more stars to rate these bowls. These will be great for the holidays, but honestly are a pretty affordable way to elevate daily meals and snacks, too. They might take a little bit more care as far as washing, but worth it!

These bowls are beautiful, the "wavy" irregular edged design is a very nice touch that I've never seen before. These bowls can be used for anything you typically use bowls for. They are a tad bit shallow as in it's not a very deep or LARGE bowl, but satisfyingly deep enough for salads, cereal, etc. Pure glass so don't drop ;) Love how it comes with 2 and they're both as pictured. 5 stars from me!

I really like these bowls and they are so useful in the kitchen, they can hold food such as pasta, salad, fruits, soups, and so many more! I was surprised at first that they had different colors (one clear and the other one with a darker tint), and I would have preferred both to have the same matching color, but they are both great. I washed them in the dishwasher, since I have seen in the item description that they are dishwasher safe. I did not notice any damage to the bowls or the cleaning edge after washing. Afterwards, I have seen in the images that they are not dishwasher safe. Out of caution, I will wash them by hand in the future, but it would be useful to know if indeed they are dishwasher safe. It is nice that they are made of nontoxic materials. They can also make a nice gift and they are priced appropriately.

These are the most stunning and elegant-looking salad bowls I've ever seen on Amazon! They have this expensive look and they are just the right size. The bowls are large enough to use as serving and snack bowls, a one-person large veggie, and leafy green salad bowl, or storage of left-over food in the fridge. They are dishwasher safe, but I rather handwash mine because they appear and feel so delicate. I love the sculpted glass design too! And the gold trim makes them look even more luxurious. These are definitely the bowls you can pull out for the holidays and special occasions. I mean, they are absolutely gorgeous bowls! These are definitely worth the purchase!
