  • Great for the price
Style: Watch 47MM
Cons: -It doesn't work as far away from my phone as I'd like it to. I have to leave my phone in the middle of my house for my watch to receive notifications when I'm on both ends of the house. It will not reach from one end to the other. -The distance issue also affects the "find my phone" feature -The "find my phone" feature only works if the Wyze app is left open on your phone, which is hard for me to remember. -Sleep counter feature is off sometimes for me because I tend to lay still in bed and watch tv w/o sleeping at night. Even if I'm on my cell phone playing a game, it thinks I'm sleeping sometimes. -The silicone band (the biggest con) is incredibly annoying b/c it gets sticky/sweaty and is just uncomfortable. I bought a stainless steel mesh one that is MUCH better. ( https://smile.amazon.com/Compatible-Breathable-Stainless-Adjustable-Replacement/dp/B094JV82RY ) Pros: -Price -Convenience of not having to have my phone in my pocket/hand all the time. -Great way to track steps/calories burned, and track time running. -Like the ability to swap between 3 pics (watch faces) without having to access my phone. -Like the shortcuts feature. Being able to turn off porch cam, or turn on/off notifications, etc is a breeze. -Battery lasts 1 week so I just charge it on Sundays. All in all, its a great watch and I'm glad I bought it. The cons are not that big of a deal to me when the watch is only $30 with shipping. (although i did have to pay another $12 for the band change) ... show more

  • A few days in, and I'm happy...
Style: Watch 47MM
I originally had a Samsung smartwatch. And I loved it! BUT... the battery life was AWFUL! The Wyze Watch (47mm) is phenomenal for the price. Im on day 3 and its still at 98% battery. If you are looking for a smart watch that has a bunch of frills and apps, this ISN'T the watch for you. Its very simplistic, but delivers on the functions it can do. I compared the heart rate monitor on the Wyze Watch to my Samsung watch and they were identical. The O2 was identical as well. You have the ability to have 3 customized watch faces on the watch, but there are about 40 pre-made watch faces that are equally nice. You can get notifications from almost every app in any app store. I havent tested the sleep tracking yet so I cant give a accurate review of that yet, but everything else works great. The watch connects with the Google Fit app and stores all your tracking information (Heartrate, Steps, Energy Expended and more) Overall, if you are looking for a nice smartwatch for just a little bit of money, I definitely recommend this watch. Its simplistic and stylish and just a overall great watch for the money. ... show more

Style: Watch 47MM
Headline reveals how long I've been wearing the Wyze watch as of today. So at almost the 2-year mark, nothing has broken. The watch still works remarkably well. I wear it almost every day. I wish it had more granular control over the watch faces available (I would prefer a basic analog watch face with all the numbers and the day/date). The crystal is scratched, but not terribly. Most days I never even notice. The watchband needs to be removed and washed regularly, as sweat tends to collect and dry on the underside. The battery still lasts between 4-5 days, which is a miracle to me. In the entire time I have owned it, it has run out of juice just once, and that was my fault…I forgot to charge it. I share the sleep monitoring between the Wyze Watch and my Google Nest machine at my bedside. The two readings can diverge widely from each other. For instance, the Wyze told me I slept for 7:16 last night, while the Google Nest said I only slept for 6:35. This 50-minute difference is pretty typical to see every morning. I believe the Nest more than the Wyze. Now, for the downside: as someone else mentioned, you get what you pay for. The %SpO2 function works, after a fashion. I use a medical blood-oxygen sensor and the watch always reads above that. For instance, I just took a measurement with the watch which said, 99%. Immediately afterward I took it with my finger reading sensor and it read 94%. So, while I like the watch's take on my O2 levels, I tend to believe my finger sensor. The heart rate sensor is better. I compare the watch's reading with my blood pressure cuff, and generally, there isn't a great disparity between it and the watch. Since I bicycle in the hills and on trails for recreation, it would be more valuable to me to have a watch that kept a live running count of my pulse rate at different rates of effort. I know that is available on some specialized watches, but not on the Wyze. Speaking of bicycling, I have been waiting almost two years for my Wyze Watch 47 to offer a bicycling algorithm as an exercise. But it only offers Running. For bicycling trips, I have to rely on my smartphone using Google Fit or the Map My Ride app. The other functions of the Wyze Watch— the stopwatch, the countdown timer, the notifications, the stretch reminder, the weather brief, and the shortcut links to other Wyze products (that was what really sold me on the watch) all fell into disuse and wound up striking me as gimmicks. Overall, I still think it was worth the $30 I spent for it on sale. I still use it practically every day. I still use the step counter (although I don't believe the calorie counter). And hey: it keeps accurate time, adjusting itself to different time zones and daylight savings time better and quicker than my wife's Apple Watch. LOL, many people think my Wyze Watch is an Apple Watch, although to me the differences are obvious. Maybe they are just being polite. ... show more

  • Great smartwatch for the money
Does all as advertised. For the price, we were very pleased with all it does, connectivity and features. We bought this new one, based on the same watch, but 3+ years old. The old one started having charging life issues. But to us, that was pretty amazing for the price and flawless use in that time.
