Thin profile blade is good for slicing. Is very sharp out of the box. Fit/finish on handle is not what I would expect for a knife in this price range. Scales don’t meet the steel which creates an uncomfortable edge when used for any length of time

This knife has perfect balance and glides through anything from tomatoes to meat to raw potatoes. It is the perfect santoku. I have always been a knife snob, and has great knives, but this feels so amazing in the hand it’s the one I reach for most often lately.
