This whole-home audio amplifier works as described, we have prewired speakers mounted in my ceilings and outdoor that total in 6 areas of the new purchased home, and we spent 4 months to looking the great value whole-home audio system, and wanna give a try the WS66i. Since all the speaker wires has been done before purchase the WS66i, so no need to pay for the professional electrical contractor to do the installation. The amplifier/App can be connected to the network within 5 mins once the unit has been plugged the ethernet cable with WiFi router as hard wired. The auto search function on the main control App will find the WS66i device automatically without checking the IP address on your own, the whole setup process was simple and straight forward. The UI design on the control App is very easy to understand and fun to play with, each zone’s volume, source selection, EQ and balance can be controlled anywhere in the house with our phones. Love the music streaming feature on this, we can use the same IOS device (or Amazon tablet) to send 2 different musics from both Spotify Premium and Tidal at the same time to different zones for the real time listening, means one cellphone device running 2 different music streaming service App to WS66i for the audio playback, no issue, no lag, easy! We did contact the Soundavo customer service via e-mail, they answered all my questions within 24 hours, regarding the music streaming via Airplay, and some other idea for the TV and external audio devices connection, the support team is friendly and professional by calling back for phone chat. The audio sound quality is great, even the WS66i offers the preamp out on each zone that can be connected to the additional amplifier to power more speakers per zone, but we didn’t use that, we’re happy for the standard speaker power output on the WS66i with the existing speakers we had, 2 x 25W stereo or bridged it to 100W RMS mono is LOUD! We also did the different equalizer setting on the App for each zoom, added more bass in the Living room open area to increased the loudness and headroom, and adjusted some treble for the soft jazz/classic music in bedroom. Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for the whole home audio system.

I liked how easy it was to install. The written instructions were shaky, but upon contacting support they worked with me, held my hand and got me through the process. Months later the settings got changed accidentally and support was there to assist me. Daniel at Soundavo is totally AMAZING! The Amplifier works Great, and I would highly recommend buying it if you are in the market for a well-positioned and priced product.

This amplifier is amazing in itself. Has everything built-in. Extremely easy to set up no issues at all. The functions are unbelievable. The app to control. It is amazing. I have 12 zones. I bought this unit and their slave which was a lot cheaper works perfectly together setting up all my zones, Very impressed. Highly recommend this amplifier and any products from this company. Customer Service is amazing. Also I had a question within 12 hours. I had the answer and a link on where I could buy what I was looking for very helpful. Can't say enough.

Upgraded from the SONOS PLAY series as 3 zone multi-room setup to the Soundavo WS66i as 6 zones application, following the Installation & Setup Tutorial video that Soundavo provided on Youtube, the network setup can be done within 5 mins. The new control App looks great and easy to use, we’re able to play different music in each room or the same for all rooms, without using the IOS device with Airplay, you can still do the music streaming on the Android device from Spotify, Tidal, Amazon Music…and more with Soundavo Player App. The WS66i provides better sound quality and more versatile, we can add some old-school CD player and Vinyl record player as the external audio device to the WS66i for the whole house audio playback (yes, some of my favor songs collection is not available on the Spotify or other online radio music App). The Preamp Out from each zone on the WS66i is other great function that I can use it to connect with my existing 7.1 AVR to run with floor stand speaker system and the in-ceiling speaker that connected to the WS66i’s speaker output at the same time, to get the enough of headroom and sound volume in the Living Room area. Finally I'm able to choose our own favor spec speakers with this whole-home audio amplifier for the WiFi streaming audio for the background music, will be consider to do the zone expansion to complete the 12 zones setup with Slave unit.

I don't normally write reviews, but I woukd like to mention a few things. The customer service is top notch! We bought this system and struggled with getting the soundavo app due to having new Android devices, called customer service, immediate response, then I thought system stopped working altogether, after some trouble shooting over the phone to no avail, no questions asked a return label was sent for the system to be sent back to diagnose it (ended up being a switch that I clicked on the back). Definitely would recommend this!
