This bag has several things I like about it. It is soft and has a short shoulder strap which is padded, as well as a removable longer strap. It is a medium size with two compartments divided by a zippered section, so there’s plenty of room for your daily items. It’s also a beautiful green color and is a great price. I have ordered a second one in the darker brown to use this winter since it seems to be well made.

I am very happy with the quality of this bag. The stitching and zippers, as well as the strap are top notch. The wider, fixed strap length is perfect for carrying over the shoulder if you like to carry close to your body. The exterior is supple and soft. The one thing I would change would be the interior lining fabric color. The interior would be much improved with light colored fabric to improve visibility. Even with the pockets, it is very hard to look into a dark brown bag and find anything.

I used to almost always use tote bags, canvas bags, and backpacks just because I am pretty rough with my stuff. However, I wanted something a little nicer that I could still use for work. This bag has plenty of room, especially when you unzip the bottom part to expand it. The pockets are great and help me keep my belongings relatively organized as well. The quality is great too. I have had it for several months now, brought it with me to work, going out with friends, shopping, and it hasn't scratched or lost any of its material. The strap is pretty soft and comfortable as well. I don't think I ever really notice the bag is on me and it doesn't feel like its digging into my shoulder. The only thing I sort of wish was different about the bag is the 2 side pockets on the inside had a flap to go over them to keep stuff more secure. When I put my badge/ID's in it they tend to slide out and fall into the main compartment of the bag. Not really a big deal though. Bottom line is the bag is worth buying :) I might get another in a different color even.

The purse I received is black as ordered, but unlike photos on the listing at time of order (and other customers’ images on item’s general reviews in other colors now), my tags and bag do not say Wrangler. They say Montana West. It may not matter, but I first had to come on here upon opening the package to make sure I’d received the correct product. I’ve seen pics with the outer Wrangler name plate coming off the purse, so I am fine with not having it. It’s just an aspect to be aware of if you’re expecting it to say Wrangler. The interior also says Montana West instead of the Wrangler pictured at time of ordering. The short strap is way too short for me, but the longer strap pulled as short as it goes works as a shoulder strap. I am 5’2”. I placed a small calendar, a journal, two spiral books, an eyeglass care kit, and a pen inside to display the roominess of this bag. There’s no way a laptop would fit, which isn’t something I needed; my 6th gen iPad fits perfectly, without books inside. I think it will be an adequate daily shoulder bag, but it seems a bit flimsy for carrying heavier items regularly. I may update this review after using it awhile.

This purse is exactly what I wanted. It does come with two straps making it a crossbody or a shorter strap over the shoulder. Lots of pockets and most of all I loved the look of the purse and the color. Just what I thought it would look like. It's very well made, has options. The price was very, extremely affordable. I've purchased this brand before and was very satisfied with that purse as well.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I LOVE the Montana West handbags. I have had several over the years and use them extensively. I purchased this one for carrying my small notebook to church along with my other essentials. It is large enough for this without being over loaded. I love that it has a zipper to make the bag bigger. I have not used it yet but love that I can if needed. Again.... I LOVE MONTANA WEST HANDBAGS AND BAGS. They are made will and made to be used!!!
