These jeans fit for those of us that do not want the crotch at our knees, that have always worn cowboy boots, have always worn western belts and that have always worn Jeans That FIT! They fit correctly, they are not "stretch denim", they are not light weight denim, they are not anything but real well-fitting jeans. Real jeans are getting harder and harder to find but these fit the bill. My husband is thick through the middle but slim in the hips and thighs. We ordered him a 40-38, and they fit perfectly. They ARE mid rise however, which takes some getting used to for him.
