I would think one could get almost too warm if wearing this outdoors while doing strenuous outdoor chores. The quality is very good. Seems to be really well made. the outer shell is really soft to the touch. the inner liner is warm and soft too - but that is why sadly i needed to return.... the liner is really warm, but zero insulation on the sleeves, so warm body but cold arms. If you're type that likes wearing a warm vest on cold days then its perfect. I will try to find the same brand in a poly insulated, the full jacket insulated. I do like this wrangler brand and fit is great too ... show more

I like this shirt-jacket even more than I expected to. it's warm -- very well insulated against cold winds. I especially appreciate the 4 roomy pockets and that the arms are insulated with satin-like quilted material rather than the fleece that lines the body; that makes it easier to slip onto my arms.
