  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Handles tore off
Is there any adhesive to attach handles once they tear off? I’ve tried sewing, gluing (many types at adhesives) but to no avail. We have bought 4 or 5 of these and my grandkids love them but without handles they are worthless. We hate to throw them away because the vinyl is perfect!

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars From beginners to the more adventurous, AMAZING!!
Best towable we have EVER found!! This thing is super stable which is a plus for kids who are new to tubing, or who have been scared off by other tubes. The wings keep it from tipping, and also make for a very gentle landing if you need to fall off. Just roll off a wing. For those that say it is unstable, that is only really for adult riders, and you need to get your butt in the right position. Experiment. For me it is 3/4 of the way back. Lighter riders don’t seem to have that issue. My FAVORITE part: Jumping in and out of the wake! This is what makes this tube so great! I am not strong or athletic, you just have to know the trick and COMMIT! While still straddling the middle, put ALL of your weight on one wing and pull the other wing completely off the water. If you do this slowly, you will mainly just steer within the wake. I usually do this as a warm up to make sure I feel stable. Then do it quickly!! Commit! You may need to do it back and forth quickly within the wake, but then you WILL jump it! To get back in, you need to go even quicker and COMMIT! For those who say it splashed water, again, you are probably too far forward. Back up a bit. For those that are concerned it will hurt your legs, try this. Try sitting back on your haunches on something soft, mimicking the position you would be in on the tube. If it stresses your knees too much, it might not work for you. If not, get it! You will be fine. It is technically a one person tube, but 2 kids, or 1 adult and 1 kid can ride on it together. I would not recommend towing an adult and child together frequently as I can see how it would stress the seems, but to help a child overcome their fear, or teach them how to jump the wake, go for it. Durability: I weigh 200 pounds and ride it just as much, if not more, than my kids. We go boating at least 4-6 times per month in the summer, and have used it for 3 seasons now. I am hoping it is still awesome when I pull it out for this summer! Regardless, it was definitely worth the money. I plan on buying a couple more for when the one does break. I love it that much! If you have questions about how to do something, ask. I will answer if I see the question. The only thing I haven’t figured out is barrel roles. ... show more

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed
No cover on this. Not extremely thick plastic. Seems very flimsy and hard to control.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Loads of fun, but one rider only!
As Julia writes in another review, the box says 1-2 riders, max of 340lbs. The towable says (and you can even see it on the first pic (with the white/red topside view) - 1P, 170lbs. After calling and trading emails with the kind folks at WOW, the box is a misprint. This is a one rider towable, the box is wrong. I guess if you had two kids at 85lbs each they might be OK, but this is really designed for one rider to move around and manipulate the handles to control the towable. With that said, I'll echo what others have mentioned - no quick release tow rope attachment, not a huge deal, get this for $10 and be done: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000OF5LWS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Otherwise, it's a really fun towable, and the kids *love* it. It's not as easy as carving with skis, but they can definitely control and move it across the wake, and do lots of different things they couldn't on a typical tube. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Fun BUT Not Expected to Last Long
This is the first towable we've tried that that claimed to be steerable by the rider. While it isn't fully steerable, it does offer the rider enough control to move back and forth easily behind the boat inside the wake, and to avoid unwanted boat whips. With practice some riders can get this to swing back and forth outside the wake too. But, I am sure this is not going to last very long, There is no protective cover and the rope from the boat ties to a strap that is glued to the vinyl raft. When the rider falls off this thing can nosedive/submarine. This puts a huge amount of pressure on the boat and the raft. I expect that the raft's glue is going to give out before the boat. We have used it for less than a month. ... show more

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars Meh...
It's an alright tube, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is extremely hard to get onto whether in or out of the water.
