The color is beautiful nice mix of light and med browns. Has over all auburn coloring. The part is free flowing so it has a more natural look. The ends are lose. The braids are done nicely and very soft however it’s a lot maybe too many braids. I may be able to pull off the thickness but would be a lot nicer, lighter to wear and more natural looking if it had half the amount. I know wigs generally come very thick but those are easily thinned out. I’m not sure if that’s possible with a braided wig. Overall a good buy and worth the money. I will however be looking for different brands with less density. ... show more

The wig is nice looking and is well made. The cap is small, but that could be remedied by replacing the elastic band with a longer one. The biggest problem with this wig is that it is very itchy. The first time I wore it, I wore it with a dress that had elbow length sleeves and it didn’t bother me. The next time I tried to wear it with a sleeveless top and I couldn’t because it irritated my skin. I soaked it in vinegar to remove any chemical residue, but that didn't work. I’m very disappointed with this wig because I bought it in the ombré color to wear for the summer, but since it’s so irritating, I won’t be able to wear it until it cools down and I wear it with sleeves so that it won’t irritate my skin. I would like to return it, but I have already cut the lace. ... show more

I am in love! After multiple disappointments with Sensationnel's (too bulky looking) and Outre's (not full enough) box braid wigs, I decided to try this one. I love the sombre colour combination of black and light brown, it is full without feeling heavy and it comes with a band at the back to secure it and a straight part to wear it centred or off-centre. It would be a great idea to wear a wig cap that is similar to your scalp colour because there are no wefts or tracks and it is very breathable. This unit is high quality, well worth the price and will last for months and months. I look forward to purchasing from this company again. ... show more

I like the quality of the braids...My only issue is that these units by WOW are TOO top heavy. The braid density in the top at the crown and forehead areas is way too much whereas the back is very sparse and widely spaced. I get the fullness they are trying to portray however the distribution of braids needs to be better, if that makes sense. I'm afraid to cut or thin it out because so many of the braids seem to be stitched together. Removing one lead to four slipping out. Also because of the weight of these units, they really need a back comb to help stabilize the install. Those adjustable straps are useless as they pop loose as soon as you apply the unit. The two side combs are placed at the perceived ear tabs also problematic because any adjustment causes them to disengage and the unit is not secure. They idea of the braid wig is fantastic, but these design flaws should be addressed; IMO. I do like the wig, it's just not little head friendly. I will be restructuring it to suit my specific needs. Beautiful braids! I’m bold in front of my head but have a head full of head in back. To be completely honest, you have to sew it and tape the front if you don’t have hair in the front. If you have a head full of hair, you can use the combs and sew the back in. The only style you can do is wearing it out or in a low ponytail. You can also but some hair to the back as well. Please do understand that the wig is full up top and in the middle which is okay otherwise the wig will be very heavy. It a good purchase for the price and it a nice wig once you play around with it and install it as you wish. ... show more

The wig came and although it's beautiful, the smell was absolutely terrible. It smelled like old warehouse and I washed it twice and the smell is still there!

In the wig I received, most of the braids are concentrated in the front. The back of the wig has empty sections. In order to wear this without showing your wig cap, you would have to pull some of the front back and secure with a ponytail holder. At this price point, I was expecting to be able to wear it like the model. The wig came in a plastic bag. I did notice a smoke like smell when I took it out. The elastic band on the inside was also fraying and did not look secure. The individual braids are very nice and the color is on point. From the front the wig looks beautiful. The lack of fullness is really an issue in the back. I don't know if I received a defective product but I was very disappointed with this purchase.
