It arrived, I installed it with strategically placed garden staples. Put mulch over a larger portion of it. When I returned to finish the project a few weeks later, the portion that had not been covered with mulch had torn apart into big and little pieces, disintegrated, flapping in the breeze and was blowing across my yard, the neighbor's yard and beyond. When picking up the pieces, my hands were filthy black. The goal was to stop weeds from breaking through the fabric. That will be impossible. IF it broke apart from just sitting without mulch being on top of it, can you imagine how fast it is disappearing under mulch? If you'd like a nice product that is biodegradable, breaking down within 2 months of installation and is the equivalent of throwing your money away, THIS IS IT. ... show more

This is really great fabric. So much better than the box store. I ordered two rolls and was just a little shy of having enough, so I ran to my local box store. Ouch, it was a much, much thinner product, had fewer yards and was almost the same price. Regretting buying at the. bo store. :(.

It is wafer thin so you have to overlap it in an effort to stop weeds and grass from coming up. It doesn't last for an entire year with the four seasons . Just be prepared to buy it annually like the flowers

This stuff is just as good as the scotts for twice the price. Easy to cut with a razor and pretty strong unless there is already a cut or rip. Worked great for my underlayment of 3/8 bluestone.

    • what a nightmare
I laid this stuff down, covered it with gravel and after a couple of heavy rains grass and weeds sprouted up through it. So I had to remove all the gravel and start all over again. So this stuff basically MADE work... horrible back breaking work
