This WORTOR weighted shaker set is good for the home bar or your first shaker set. I have another weighted set and both tins are heavier than the WORTOR set. Not sure which set I like better but the heavier tins do seem steadier on the counter. You will be very happy with this set.

We were pleasantly surprised how great this product was. It makes 2 glassez of ~12oz drinks. Top cup glides well with the bottom cup and easy to shake the drink. No leaking when shaking the drinks. Only complaints that we have is that the metal evaporates and gets wet when you put ice but other than that, this is a well made product and very classy looking. This product is a great value and lives up 100% to the description and details. With a past in bartending I have used professional grade shakers like this before and already own one I purchased from the local restaurant supply. I usually use a pint glass as the top for the shaker I have, so I was excited to see how this one would work with the smaller companion tin. I also do not like shakers with the two piece top where you poor through the cap, they always seem to leak or get stuck together. I do own the appropriate strainer to pour drinks out of a shaker like this, which is something you might want to add when purchasing this. This shaker made some great gin martinis this week without loosing a drop of liquid. The materials are just like my other shaker in weight, thickness, and size. They nest perfectly and form a great seal. The stainless material is of a high quality and nicely polished. I would recommend this product to anyone! ... show more

I’ve been upping my barware game lately and I’ve been very picky about my shakers. The slip for is the way to go in my opinion. They seal better, shake better and clean faster. This shaker being polished in the outside and inside should only make it even easier over time. These feel really good. The double bottom adds weight along with protection, so if you want to try out some tricks, this is the set for you. The weight to help you pull it off and the protective layer for when you don’t pull it off. These seal tight with themselves and that is added by the weight bottom, yet they also pop apart on cue. They can be combined with different glasses as well if you are comfortable doing that. I’d say this set is worth grabbing, even if you don’t need it necessarily, but it sure makes a party more fun if you can keep a shaker dedicated to a drink or at least roughly similar drinks. ... show more

The shaking tins fit perfectly in the hands, and accommodate standard Hawthorn strainers. They transfer heat well, so you may want to hold a bar towel as you shake to prevent the frost rime from sticking to your hands.
