Description

Everyone needs the support of a Sidekick. It can handle up to 300 lbs, so it holds its own as a worktable in the shop or on projects. Yet it folds together easy and only weighs 13 lbs so you can take it anywhere and use it for everything. It’s great for tailgating, outdoor parties, pretty much anywhere you need a portable table. It’s 36” x 13.5” x 6” when folded for transport and 24” x 24” in table mode. It’s a standard 32” high—that’s the same height as our other Worx support products, so you can link it to the Pegasus (2 Link Locks are included) or use it on projects with our Clamping Sawhorses to extend its usefulness. It features 4 Clamp Dogs, which keep materials in place. It’s marked with many common measuring guides. And there are handy accessory trays built right in. The steel metal legs are designed not to slip on hard surfaces or sink into soft ground. And when you’re ready to go, they quickly collapse, and the table folds right around them like a briefcase, so you can take it to the next job or event. And that portability also makes it easy to store. The Sidekick is a perfectly portable table that you can take anywhere and use to support the load once you get there. Whether you’re a painter or party-planner, DIY-er or handyman, you can always use a Sidekick.

  • Three Modifications/Upgrades
Style: Sidekick Work Table
The media could not be loaded. Excellent stability and versatility, but I added: - Adjustable feet - A smooth work surface option - Enlarged (20mm) bench dog holes for Festool clamping components compatibility

  • Clever design, sturdy, and well-made.
Style: Sidekick Work Table
This is one the most cleverly designed tables I've ever seen. It's easy to carry (weighs under 13 lbs.), and is easily assembled and disassembled by one person. It takes less than a minute to unfold and have ready for use. When you're done, it takes less than a minute to fold it up (no tools needed). It's very stable. I weigh 165 lbs. And I laid across the table to check the stability. No wobbling. The top is made of a very durable reinforced plastic. It's hinged (folds in half), and transforms into a carrying case when not in use. The table top hinge is made of metal. For reference, there are inch and millimeter markings on the table top. And the top has an indented area that can be used to temporarily hold nails, screws, etc. The table comes with four (4) orange-colored pegs (clamps) If needed, the clamps can be inserted into holes in the table top to help secure things. When not in use, the clamps insert into the bottom side of the table top. The legs and support braces are made of metal, and have plastic/rubber feet. I have several of these tables. They're not just for workshop or garage use. Two or more can be placed side-by-side for backyard or picnic use. And they're much easier to handle and transport than one large table. When not in use, they stack on top of each other for storage (the photo shows five tables stacked on top of a garage refrigerator). I received no discount or compensation for my review. I enthusiastically recommend this table. ... show more

  • Rock solid and well designed.
Style: Sidekick Work Table
Instead of a feather-weight table with surprisingly strong spidery legs (which is what I was expecting, based on photos), this table is fairly beefy, with sturdy legs, that sets up rock solid in under a minute, and packs up to go in about the same amount of time. I wouldn't think twice about putting something like a window air conditioner or a large laser printer on this table. I am very impressed with its strength. It is also very portable, and at 13 lbs, very easy to carry. There's a bit of awkwardness to how the legs stick out, although I'm not sure there's anything to be done about that. The only change I would suggest is to have something that locks the legs more securely in place for transport. There's a neoprene foam insert that provides some friction to hold the legs from sliding, but there's still a tendency to slide unless you position the legs with the rubbery sleeve against the foam insert. It works OK, but the elegant engineering of the table led me to expect a more elegant mechanism to hold the legs for transport. I suspect that the little rubber grommet thingies that serve as both latches and connectors to join two tables together will be easy to lose or damage, and I don't see replacements available on either Amazon or the Worx website. The pegs that hold them are designed with a retaining shoulder, but they are easy to remove (and could be a potential choking hazard for kids or pets). ... show more

  • I started using this within 10 minutes of receiving it.
Style: Sidekick Work Table
I bought this Worx table to replace a pair of crappy plastic sawhorses. Within 10 minutes after I came home the day it arrived I had it set up and was using it on a woodworking project I'm doing. It took me longer to get the unit out of the box than it did to set it up, it's that easy to assemble. I locked in the legs, gave the table a firm downward push and it's now steady as a rock. I do move my work from time to time so the portability will be a major benefit. And though I'll never use the 300 pound capacity it's nice to know it's there. In all I highly recommend this Worx table for basis shop needs. ... show more

  • It's extremely easy to setup and break down
Style: Sidekick Work Table
I work in IT. There are times when you need to enter a server room to troubleshoot a problem with a server. And 9 times out of 10, you are either putting your laptop on a chair or accessing it on your knees. This product is practical and convenient. It folds up and is portable. At 14lbs., it saves your back from being sore after 10 minutes. It's extremely easy to setup and break down. I have looked for other products, but no luck looking in the Technology Department. This product is about 26 x 26 all setup for those with space issues between rack spaces. ... show more

  • Added this Sidekick to a WORX Pegasus table and it's a nice combo
Style: Sidekick Work Table
I am redoing the flooring in my house in vinyl planks. I bought this to go with my Worx Pegasus work table. The combination of these work tables gives me a lot of surface to hold my flooring saw and everything else I need. When I got this I wasn't sure it would be strong and stable enough. Well it is both. I am happy with my Worx tables as they are easy to set up and don't take up too much storage space. My Worx tables will probably be helping me for many years to come. I did buy the Pegasus directly from the Worx website. They have a 10% discount for signing up and I got it for about $108.00 shipped which is about $15.00 less than Amazon. This Sidekick table was sold out at Worx and Amazon was the best deal I could find. Anyway, no matter where you buy, these work tables are great! I highly recommend them. ... show more
