I've been researching all these portable welding tables, reading lots of reviews. Settled on this one. Took about 40 min to assemble. Parts seem quality and not cheap. I'm no professional fabricator or even decent at mig welding yet. Prior to buying this table I was welding things on the floor of the garage or standing at a bench vise. Purchased some accessories for it and tried out some test pieces. Table is sturdy. All in all I think it was money well spent. For those leaving negative reviews about quality are expecting too much and are too cheap to spend money on a nice fixture/welding table.

My husband, a complete welding newbie, put together an economical kit to fabricate custom brackets for our sailboat’s autopilot. He used the Hugbow 40 PCS Welding Practice Kit (tons of 11-gauge mild steel coupons for practice runs), DEWALT Premium TIG Gloves (perfect fit for his big XL hands), Strong Hand Tools TS3020 Welding Table (adjustable height/angle, casters, slots for clamping—very versatile), TOOLIOM Large-View Auto-Darkening Helmet (huge clear lens, no fogging, comfy on his larger head), and ARCCAPTAIN 120A Handheld Welder (portable, reliable arc on 3/32”-1/8” rods). Everything worked as expected: strong (if not pretty) welds on the final brackets, no major failures, and he built real confidence learning a tough skill—huge respect for pro welders now! The setup was affordable and let him keep tackling DIY projects without spending a fortune. Only real issue: Trouble keeping metal panels steady while drilling holes—vibration caused shifting, and basic clamps/magnets weren’t strong enough for secure hold-down. The table’s slots are great for welding access, but he’d have loved dedicated stronger clamps (like Strong Hand’s table-specific ones or heavy-duty hold-downs that fit the 28mm slots) or more powerful magnets to lock pieces flat. Still, highly recommend this combo for beginners on a budget—five stars overall, with a tip: Invest in good clamping add-ons for drilling/fit-up tasks!

Takes some build time so clear an area. Get your wrenches out ( metric) you'll need them. Excellent table at $100.

This table has so much potential, but falls short on several areas. Assembly is relatively straightforward. It calls for basic tools to complete, including wrenches. I like to use sockets when tightening bolts and found two different sizes on the some of the bolt and nut combos (1/2" and 13mm). As others have reported, the frame doesn't fit square to the floor and has a wobble to it. The handle tightener that adjusts the angle of the table has a very sloppy weld and the bolt went in crooked and possibly stripped. Too bad as the quality of the parts seem really nice.

Update after 13 months of use-When I first received this table it worked fine but within 2 week the rubber feet started to split. I contacted the seller and they sent out replacement without an issue. Well 6 months into weekly use and both both "red locking handles" began to get stripped out. Of course I didn't think it was a big issue until after on the 13 month of owning it they are completely stripped out and I had to completely cut the red plastic part off to get at the bolt to just be able to use the table. After reaching out to the seller 3 separate time via their website & sales email I gave up as they failed to respond to my emails. I guess after the one year warranty is up this company doesn't stand behind their products. Spend a little more and get something that will last.
