Description

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: FAQs - Manufacturing Date - What is the manufacturing date? The manufacturing date is shown near the line that says "Date PKD/LOT." It is often expressed in a modified Julian date format using a 4-digit code. The first digit represents the last digit of the year, and the next three digits indicate the day of the year it was packed. For example: 2110 The 2 represents the year 2022 (based on the last digit). The 110 represents the 110th day of the year, starting from January 1st — which equals April 20th. So, 2110 means the MRE was manufactured on April 20th, 2022. Note: The manufacturing date is typically three years prior to the original inspection date. Each meal will have the 4 digit code on the packaging, you can check each meal to verfiy the outside box Inspection Date - An inspection date is not an expiration date. MREs do not have an expiration date. The inspection date is the manufacturer's recommended date to re-inspect your MREs. This date is always three years after the manufacturing (pack) date. When the inspection date arrives, you should evaluate the MREs. If they pass inspection, they can be given an extension for another three years. This process can be repeated up to six times, allowing MREs to last up to 20 years. However, after 15 to 20 years, MREs begin to lose their nutritional value. Eat like a soldier - Experience the convenience of US military solutions with our MRE (Meals Ready to Eat) packs. These carefully crafted meals combine taste and sustenance, making them perfect for various scenarios - from camping adventures to emergency preparedness. Each meal requires no refrigeration and comes in a durable, self-contained package that's easy to store and transport. Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast planning your next wilderness expedition, a practical prepper building your emergency supplies, or someone who values having reliable food options while traveling, these MREs deliver complete nutrition without compromising on flavor. The meals are quick to prepare and ready when you need them most, requiring no additional ingredients or complicated preparation steps. Stock up on these versatile meal solutions to ensure you're prepared for any situation while enjoying satisfying, nutritious food. Our MREs have a lengthy shelf life, with an inspection date three years after the pack date. This means you may comfortably store them at room temperature for 5 or more years, making them a dependable alternative for emergencies or long-term pantry storage. In each meal, savor the distinct flavors of Asian, Mexican, Italian, traditional, and vegetarian cuisine. We've carefully selected a variety of dishes to cater to a wide range of tastes and dietary requirements. Each meal is carefully designed to deliver around 1250 calories, ensuring that you have the fuel you require to stay energized under any conditions. But it doesn't end with the main courses. Snacks, sweets, coffee, cappuccino, milkshakes, and beverage base powders are also included with our MREs. Each MRE comes with an accessory bag containing flavorings, matches, toilet paper, and other survival necessities. Date PKD/Lot - Sometimes you’ll have the date packed such “01/09/23” which you know to mean January 9, 2023. However, some cases will use a different form (Julian Date) such as “3009”. In this case, the first number “3” stands for the year (2023) and the next three numbers indicate which day of the year (365 days in a year) it was packed. So “009” would be the 9th day of the year 2023 …or January 9, 2023. The packed date is the equivalent to the manufactured date of the case in it's entirety. INSP/TEST - The inspection date is just that, the manufacturer wants the consumer to open and inspect the food by this date. Once inspected you can consume accordingly, keeping in mind that some components can last longer than others and should be consumed with discretion. This date is the equivalent of a "soft" expiration date or "best used by" date. Keeping in mind that under proper storage condition some components will outlast others. • Eating MREs is FUN and a great way to have emergency food.
Size: A&B Bundle (24 Meals)
I ordered these about 6 weeks ago and have gone through an entire A and B case. They were all fresh and sealed well. Contents were all in good shape. I have not had many MREs before other than a few given to me by friends in the service when I was younger. So getting to eat through the whole menu was fun. The entrees are all mostly like 5/10 but the snacks and desserts are all REALLY GOOD !! I was shocked at the quality of the snacks. The pound cake is so good and those choc chip cookies have me jonesing for more. The cheese and crackers was probably my favorite - I remember getting crackers from an MRE when i was a kid in the 80s and they tasted just like I remember. I initially bought 4 cases (2 A, 2B) and will be buying more to keep around for emergencies or road trips. I would keep them in a cooler if storing them in a car in the summer. Condiments/TP I'm no connoisseur but the coffee wasn't terrible - I don't use creamer so idk about that. There is sometimes even a tiny Tabasco bottle or a dehydrated hot sauce pack in there too! The TP is functional but you will want to stack and alternate sheets at 90 degree angles to make it usable. I wish I had access to these when I was in the Scouts. would have been way better to take with me on hiking and camping trips. At the current price (about $40/case) this works out to $3.33/MRE which is an insanely good price/calorie. The only thing to watch out for is the amount of sugar in the drinks. As a rather stagnant middle-aged guy I don't need a zillion empty calories like the young people who are out in the field burning a zillion cals a day in the sun. The chocolate "protein" drink is only 14g protein and 35g sugar. it's great and tastes like hot chocolate but you'll get the beetus if you OD on these. ... show more

  • Excellent product
Size: B Case (12 Meals)
This item is one of those items that the price fluctuates among sellers hugely! This company seems very well priced and you have the ability to choose the individual box (A or B). They arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Include everything they are supposed to include. For those not in the know - MRE's are the military rations. These are as issued though a little different from when I was last issued them. Meals change so you need to look at what meals you want and what package they can be found. Beware of the dates as they are NOT 20 year items but do hold up very well even over 5 years. The new versions have a food heater with them. I have traveled on airlines with them but, honestly, I don't know the rule with them as a carry on item and don't think they are legal in the check in bags though the military fly them around all the time without mishaps - and if you think airlines treat bags badly you should see what a mobility bag goes through! Flavor isn't bad though, of course, some are better than others. Why MRE's versus camping rations you can buy online or at most outdoor stores? Well, there are plus and minuses to each. I want to keep this short so recommend you search it but, basically, these are not dehydrated, include a heater of which you need to add water and you can heat it (we used to carry them against our body or put them on the engine block if available, this is much more elegant). The others are pure dehydrated and need water to rehydrate. Both, if buying from quality companies for the camping versions, are basically nutritious and packed with needed things like protein and calories. The latter tend to be lighter in weight but do not include a full "meal" that the MRE's contain. Weigh, pun intended, requirements versus needs versus wants versus room in your pack and weight you can carry and decide from there! ... show more

  • Quick shipment, authentic MREs
Size: A&B Bundle (24 Meals)
As others have mentioned, mine ended up arriving 4 days ahead of the scheduled date, which was a nice surprise.. The best by date on mine was 2026, though with air conditioned storage, I would expect them to stay good for a few years longer than that When I bought the price was $77 for 24, which works out to ~$3.20 a meal, which is an absurdly good price for what you get in the package. I ate one Menu 3 Chicken with noodles and vegetables just out of curiosity when mine arrived. Comes with a main, a flameless heater to heat it, crackers with peanut butter and jelly, applesauce, kool-aid adjacent beverage, instant coffee, seasoning and accessories, and candy (a full size Skittles package). The main is quite tasty in my mind, easily a similar quality or better than your average TV dinner, and with the extras its really so much for the price. I got mine to give myself a week or so of overhead in the case of an emergency situation, but at that price, I might get another case just to eat them as ready made meal ... show more

  • Pristine Quality and Freshness – Verified Purchase
Size: A Case (12 Meals)
I spent 8 years in the service and have plenty of experience with these. This 2022 Case A arrived in flawless condition. The Time-Temperature Indicator (TTI) was perfect, confirming it was stored in a climate-controlled environment, which is the most important factor for these. The Breakdown: Freshness: The peanut butter, snacks, and sides were all fresh with no off-flavors or oil separation. Texture: The main entree (Elbow Macaroni) had a great consistency—not mushy like some older batches can get. Heater: The flameless heater worked as expected, though adding a pinch of salt to the water helped it reach a better temperature. These are going into my 60°F storage and I expect 5+ years shelf life. If you're looking for high-quality, properly stored rations, this is a solid buy. ... show more

  • Price increases are happening on these items
Size: A&B Bundle (24 Meals)
Real deal. Only it seems this seller is increasing the price over time. These do taste good and all parts are in tact and good. These do not have an indefinite shelf life, however. So renew your stock every few years!
