I use these onions all the time. I hate washing and chopping onions. I don't want to smell like onions all night. I use about a quarter cup to equal 1 whole onion in a recipe, and it tastes just fine. Works well in soups too.

they’re fine. For the amount of product you get they’re probably overpriced. But since we’re paying for the ability to store long-term, I guess it’s about average. Throw it into any dish that calls for onions. Hydrate overnight in the fridge and briefly simmer for 30 seconds for "raw" onion use. I've used the product raw and uncooked many times, so it appears to be entirely clean and safe to use raw. The aroma is eye-wateringly delectable!
