The wormwood massage hammer two-pack works well and it's a good way for me to get my blood circulation moving. The handles provide a good grip as I use both massage hammers at the same time pounding away around my body. I feel the handles could be slightly longer but the length still works well reaching about 95% of my body. The massage balls are dense and are almost as hard as an electric massage gun but bigger and slightly softer. I'm not into the wormwood scent as it reminds me of what an old person smells like. It's similar but different to regular green sage but not as pleasant as white sage. The two massage hammers together weigh about 358.6 grams and don't feel too heavy. Overall, the scent is not a deal breaker and I enjoy pounding away at my body for thirty minutes every other day to help with blood circulation and to help relieve muscle knots.

I'm not quite sure what drove me to purchase these. It could have been the pain I constantly feel in my body from being overworked. It could have been the interesting look and beautiful colors (pink and purple are my favorite!) Or, it could have just been sheer curiosity. Whatever the reason, this purchase was a bit out of left field for me, but one thing is for sure- I'm VERY glad I got these! This package arrived quick, with both pieces individually wrapped in plastic, neatly packed in an unassuming brown box. Also in the box, a beautiful red satin bow that ties around the hammers for easy gifting. These are a generous size. Each handle is 8" long. The head is roughly 2.25" long (and about 4" diameter) so the total length is about 10.25". They are ever so slightly different, because they are hand made, but each piece weighs around .45lbs and together they weigh a little under 1lb. These are very well made and studry. The handles are beautifully wrapped in soft rope. The wrap is clean and doesn't overlap itself at all, so they are comfortable to hold. There is a loop of rope at the end of the handle, making the set easy to hang. The heads are (almost) round and covered in a durable cotton like material that has some texture to it, but is also very soft. Besides the gorgeous colors and patterns, I think one of the things I like the most about these is that they smell EXACTLY like the spa. There is a very relaxing, calming, fresh, somewhat minty scent infused into the heads that is absolutely delightful, and not overpowering or overwhelming. Let me tell you- Using these on my body feels AMAZING! I love getting into the muscles on my legs, arms, feet and even upper back. Of course, they feel even better when I get someone else to use them on me. We take turns in the house, giving one another a nice massage with these. They have quickly become our go to massage tool because they really feel incredible and work out even the worst kinks and stress in the body. They don't hurt- at all. One of the great things about these is you can use as much or as little pressure as you want. Honestly, if you aren't putting much energy/effort into it, you can barely feel the head as it hits the skin. The more you put into the 'swing' of the hammer, the more relief you will feel. You have to really swing this pretty hard for it to actually hurt. Overall, I'm SO HAPPY I took a chance on these! We all love them here. It's an easy way to massage your muscles and super effective too. They are well worth the price!

This 2 pack of Purple Fabric Covered Manual Massage Hammer, Body Massage Hammer, Massage Tools, Mugwort Content Greater than 50Percent, Lymphatic Drainage Hammer is sold by: "DWGEPT" a company based in "CHINA". These manual hammers as so they are referred to are very pretty, well made and quite 'unique'! You will definitely need a 2nd person to get the total effect of them. I had my adult daughter lay on the floor and gently tapped her upper back, shoulders and lower back and she loved it - said it felt amazing and that she felt less sore and tight afterwards'! The handles have a comfortable grip of some type of rope wound around them. The listing states that they are "suitable for middle aged and elderly people to use at home as well as sedentary office people" huh? What does that even mean...

These lymphatic drainage/massage hammers are heavier than they look. You can use them on your own upper back and they do pretty well to massage that area or any other area you can reach. They pack a decent amount more of force than you might think. They are scented with a type of wormwood essence that is divisive as to whether people like it or hate it. I find it to be interesting and oddly relaxing.

I actually got this because I saw a man using it in a movie and had no idea what he was doing. I don't personally love the smell of wormwood - it's a musty, medicinal smell - but the patting of the hammer feels good. The weight of the hammers is comfortable enough to hold but still heavy enough to have force without requiring much exertion. They are fairly large and look just as pictured. It says they generate heat, but I actually thought I felt a coolness strangely enough. Each hammer was in plastic and in an unsealed box. These are comparably priced ($9.98) to other sets.

Pretty big, expected these to be smaller. Comfortable to hold and a good weight. I'm new to using something like this, so I was afraid they would hurt but they felt great! So far have used them on my legs and it does take some getting used to but it was worth it in the end for working out my muscle stiffness and soreness.
