  • Best thing I ever bought for my back
I had a old injury back injury in hs wrestling and would still feel it all the time but I would buy all kinds of foam rollers and back massagers and infared heating pads which are all beneficial but this was the the missing piece this helps your spine decompress and helps your body stop muscle guarding and relax but I would say pair this with a infrared heating pad warm your back muscles up and then lay on the stretcher and I think that's the best approach the first level of stretchers plenty I would say chill with that for a while before moving up when your back gets used to it ... show more

  • Good but not great
This is a good product but not the greatest. on the lowest setting, it helps with a slight stretch, the middle setting is a better stretch and the last setting is the most stretch you can get but very hard to get up from. the thing that kept this from being a great product is that you will smash the hell out of your fingers if not careful when moving the settings for the first time ... show more

  • This product works!
I have been dealing with a long history of back pain since my injury in Iraq, 2002. This product works pretty well so far by allowing me to decompress my lower, mind and upper back through relaxation and natural gravity. I have been routinely getting massages every month for years to deal with the tension and pain in my cervical, thoracic and lumbar regions. Doctors have only recommended physical therapy and medications, both of which never did much other than complicate things with additional side effects. This is a medication free treatment device that is extremely cheap in comparison to other options I have tried. Overall I have been able to get better results with this option then other methods. I have been working on my back for over 18 years and this seems to be the missing last step. I would like to be up front though you have to expect some adjustment pains, I noted a significant increase in pain after vertebrae adjusted for 2 days, given I have had pain for so long though it was not that big a deal for me and something I was aware could happen due to past experience with different treatments. I hope my review will help someone out there finally get some relief by trying this product. I would say go slow, the basic first step for this product is more then enough of a curve to help the majority of people. I would say higher steps in the curve are for people with a great deal of flexibility, so pretty healthy spine people looking for additional flexibility. I can do the second step pretty easily now but don’t see the benefit as much as the lower step allows for great relaxation and depth for the pressure points. These hard points might be difficult to endure for sensitive people, but can also help one release thorough breathing exercises and relaxation. ... show more

  • Good Idea but poor actual item usefulness
I am not sure what I was expecting when I purchased this back stretcher. After reading others’ reviews, it sure made me believe it would really help, so I jumped on the self-chiropractic train to help relieve my back pain. Initially, I was very excited to try the item. I tried it for four days, and it did very little for me. I didn’t feel any better. I only momentarily felt better when I was actually on the stretcher. Truthfully, I’m not sure what I’m supposed to feel or how long it will take to feel “better” or “improvements”. Once I got up, it felt the same as before. It honestly would be a great solution if I had hours in my day to lay on it, but I don’t. I would recommend onlyif you have light to moderate and would avoid if you have severe back pain. Chiropractic care may be a better option. Good luck! Hope it works out for you. ... show more

  • Was skeptical but have had major relief.
I have had this back stretcher for 2 days now and used it for only 5 minutes here or there. Pain I have had for years has gone away and I'm able to stretch easier and looser than I have in a long while. I went kayaking yesterday for five miles and noticed better posture naturally and without pain there and while driving. I have slept better in bed with less hip pain. I know it is still early, but I'm pretty convinced this thing works, especially since I have significantly improved range of motion and looseness. I'll update in a few months so see if it still works as good. As far as using it, it feels like it's not doing much when you're on it, depending up how high you have the arch. At most extreme, it feels like an intense stretch. Start slow with the bent knee stretch as shown and you can work your way up to the more intense stretches. Be careful getting off and do so as per the diagram so you don't strain yourself and undo the work of laying on the arch. After my first time using it, I felt instant relief when I got up and have not had the crazy pain from before come back since. I'm going to keep using it, even though I don't even feel like I need to that often. Especially for the price, I highly recommend this thing. It has done with orthos, chiros and medicine could not! ... show more

  • Be careful.
I don't have photos, and when I tried to write this review the first time it wasn't accepted for some reason. I was so excited to use this, I've had horrible back problems due to a car accident that happened on February 14th in 2021.* Let me start by saying, you have to be super strong to actually get this into the notches. It took 3 people for me. Unfortunately, the first time, I decided I would try to set it up by myself. My hand got caught inside of the notch, between both sides of incredibly hard plastic. I had to rip off a chunk of skin to get my hand unstuck, and when the adrenaline wore off, I was dry heaving on the bathroom floor. When all was said and done and I tried to get it put in the bag it came with to put it away, the zipper broke off. Now I can't open it without cutting the bag open. It took a week to get feeling back in my hand, and a little bit longer for the swelling and bruising to go down. Watch your hands when you're setting it up. And if you're not sure if you can do it yourself, please ask someone for help. I don't think I'll ever want to use this product again, so I gifted it to my brother. If you get this, it may help with back problems (it didn't do much for me). Just be CAREFUL when setting it up. ... show more

  • Absolutely worth it (at least for me)
I threw out my back and was in an incredible amount of pain if I tried to bend in any direction. This little thing was a lifesaver. I didn't want to spend hundreds to go to the dr. and get scans and then chiro/PT, so I gave this and a back brace a try in hopes that it would make the pain manageable. It ABSOLUTELY worked and now my back pain is less than what it was before it completely gave out! Assembly does require some force after the first notch. The highest notch was pretty difficult the first few times I switched it, but I'm also 5'2", so that setting just made me feel like I was almost doing a complete back bend, but seemed okay for my 6' partner. I alternate between the lowest and middle notch. The spikes on it is not painful at all and provides some needed pressure. I think you can put in on your chair and use it that way. I've just been putting it on the floor and laying on it for 5-10 minutes at the beginning and end of the day. The first time I used it, my back cracked in about 12 different places which kind of scared the crap out of me but I immediately felt so much better. I'm honestly in love with this thing and I'm pretty picky and have commitment issues. And yes- that's absolutely ridiculous because it's literally just two pieces of plastic. Now just be mindful that I never found out why my back gave out so will this be as life changing for you as it was for me? I sure as heck can't tell you, but if my 2 cents are worth anything, I'd say it's worth a try. (I'm 100% not saying that this is an alternative to professional medical care and do not follow the example of someone who makes questionable decisions about her health) ... show more

  • Noticeable Difference
I'm 6'5" and have had terrible lower back pain since I started working from home in March. I looked online for a solution and found this. It is easy to put together as there's only really two pieces to it. The hardest part is figuring out how to relax the tension in your body as you do it. It takes some time to figure out, but once you do, you'll feel it. I have an athletic build and I'm in good shape, weighing 235 lbs. and this thing supports my weight no problem. It never feels like it's going to fail or break under my weight. I started off on the 'beginner' setting and after about a month I switched to the 'moderate' setting (there's three settings). I started to notice more of a difference once I made the switch to the moderate setting, although I would not suggest jumping right in to moderate, no matter how flexible you think you are. It's best to get used to the thing first, then to move up to the next setting. Before I started using this, I couldn't sit in my desk chair for 30 minutes straight, now I can sit at my desk chair for a full 8 hour workday no problem. I use this to stretch my back out anywhere from two to three times a day at five minutes a session. I'll do one in the morning, one at lunch, and one after work has concluded. ... show more
