The media could not be loaded. Ordered 8 pillowcases. Variety of colors that are fairly accurate to description. (navy, blush pink, and natural in photo). 1 pillowcase per pkg. Packaged nicely. Purchased for skin, hair, and lashes. Cases are thin and see through. (see Made in China label in photo) 2 side seams with zip closure. Fabric feels more like satin than silk. High quality silk is smooth and can feel like Egyptian cotton. “Milky” Smelled like burnt hair when flame tested, but didn’t hold flame to “ball” up. (See video) Not sure the $ for one case matches the quality. May satisfy your purpose and expectations for a short period and help figure out if it makes a difference, or decide to trade up in silk or trade out to high quality cotton. I currently have two silk cases that are 10+ years old. Quality is higher and both have worn extremely well. Uncertain these will match that in 10 years. this product was misrepresented. It is sold as 100%silk on box and is 100% microfiber in the label. Sadly I gave as a luxurious gift and the return date had bad by the time the recipient told me. Its garbage!

LIKES: 1) Color is accurate 2) Fabric is soft (just okay) 3) packaging is VERY nice 4) that the pillowcase has the zip closure DISLIKES: 1) Color fades slightly upon hand washing w/all natural organic detergent. 2) MUST be dry cleaned or hand washed 3) Pillow case IS made in China 😡. Company emailed me and said this was NOT made in China (because I asked), but the label sewn right on the inside READS - “Made in China”. 4) The fact that the company felt the need to include a “scrap” piece of silk for me to burn (to prove it’s authenticity). I should have known by the price $5) The zip closure is wiry (hard and not pliable). 5) Pillowcase MUST be IRONED in order to look decent after washing. ... show more

I found that silk pillowcases could help with frizzy hair. I could not be happier that I bought these because now I can wake up without looking like Mufasa had a bad blow out. Not to mention they are incredibly soft and smooth and I love putting my face on it. No more waking up with a pillow crease on my face that takes hours to go away! I throw this in the washer with cold water washable and so far, so good. I'm really sensitive to smells & worried that this would have the silk smell to it but mine does not. I'm very happy with it and will buy another soon so that I have a spare. I was wondering about buying one for the husband but wondering if his scruff will ruin it. ?? ... show more

Not convinced this pillowcase is silk since it feels very different from the silk case my friend showed me. The ad on Amazon mentioned a fabric test kit to prove the item was silk, yet no test kit was provided. Only way to test for real silk would be to cut the pillowcase and burn a piece, except that would render it unusable and not eligible for refund. While the pillowcase is high quality and generously sized, I still wonder if it's 100% silk. ... show more

I ordered the standard natural white case and I love it. The first time, I washed it by hand and ironed it. From then on I have washed it (4-5 times) in the machine on perma press or gentle AND dried it in the machine. Maybe this will cut it's life short, but so far, it comes out beautifully soft and wrinkle free and it saves me time. The silk feels great to sleep on and really helps my hair (soft curls, normally lots of frizz) keep its shape and smoothness. I plan to buy some for gifts! ... show more

the guy in the review said it helped his hair stay in place when he slept. and even showed a before and after picture./ Well it didnt make a bit of difference to the good, my hair was still a mess when I woke up! it was machine washable is the only advantage of buying it one.
