Bought two of the same brand brad nailers within couple of days and neither worked. Amazon kindly took them back. Will not mention brand. Ordered this brand and arrived 7 this morning. I've already lost enough time so was a happy camper. Manual said battery would need charge but turned out to be fully charged. So loaded 2 inch nails and tested. Shot through 1 and 1/2inch Douglas fir easily and noted 1/2 inch out back of board. Since I need to install new baseboard I tested depth of nail head settings so I won't need my nail set. Works as advertised. Realize I really have not used this nailer long enough for a good review but after the other two experiences I am already very happy. This instruction manual was also much better written and useful.

While it IS a bit heavy for a 60-something year old female, it is powerful and more than adequate for my needs. In fact, one of my neighbors has borrowed it for a few of his wife's honey-do projects. (yes, I sent her the link so she can buy him his own). I've had no jams and the battery charges quickly and lasts for more than enough time for my projects. I recently used to repair my wooden privacy fence which was damaged by a storm. I used it in several directions as I had to twist and turn it to reach around plants - still zero issues. Again, it is heavy but the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.

I purchased this product purely for the purpose of putting trim back in place as it came loose on my brand new manufactured home. I shot 5 nails out of it about two months ago and thought, this is perfect, works great and I loved it. Just tried to fix a piece of trim that my son knocked loose today and it will not do anything, charge, NOTHING! And now it’s past the return period, so I’m stuck. Awesome start though.

I haven't tried it yet, but seems sturdy. Not 5 star because you CANNOT use it for upholstery, which was one main reasons I bought it. Misleading title. Staples are long, heavy duty. I could build a chair with them before I could reupholster one! I am a little to blame for not realizing it, as someone with little power tool experience. Still disappointed.
