I'm not sure why the product listing is nothing like the sun shade I ordered. At the time I ordered it was, but this is not an umbrella style as is shown now. There is a Velcro strap over a slit that goes around the rear-view mirror then the sides are easily held in place using the sun visors. These help keep the interior cool in the hot sun but also helps reduce the UV damage to the interior to help keep the truck looking new longer. The challenging part of the sun shade, not exclusive to this exact product is learning how to put it away. The first few times it's not easy, but after you get the hang of it, it becomes easy. The way I fold this is after folding in half, with the elastic strap on one side, I grab one side with my thumb facing up and the other thumb facing down then twist both hands pushing towards each other. This seems to be the easiest way to do this that has worked for me. Once it's in a round shape the elastic strap keeps it closed so you can put this in the storage bag. The storage bag has an odd flap and an elastic strap on one side that I have no idea what it is for. Since no product details came with this and the listing is an entirely different product, I don't know how to find the purpose. For just under $15 this is a decent value and hopefully this will last

I’ve tried quite a few sunshades over the years. From the expensive accordion type sold through the dealership, made specifically for the car, (which look solid and substantial, only to find that the ribbing sags in the heat), to trying universal sunshades that are too thin to make much difference. But this sunshade has proven to be a winner. And at an affordable price. It comes in a handy storage bag which keeps the sunshade out of the way and protected when not in use. It’s easy to fold back up and store. (I’ve had some that I just can’t get to fold back up and then you give up and just throw the whole thing in the back seat, fighting it to stay down so you can see.) Opening this sunshade up it immediately expands itself into perfect shape. The ribbing is strong but flexible. It holds its shape very well and still is able to conform to smaller windshields as well as larger ones and provide completely full coverage. There are two layers. One is the black nylon fabric side facing inwards and the other is a silver metallic tightly woven fabric facing outwards. These fabrics repel the heat and dash damaging sun rays, keeping the interior of the car far cooler. Both layers are thick and provide a good amount of protection. The stitching is solid and quality of materials is apparent from the start. This sunshade is durable, well made and adjusts well to different windshield sizes. This sunshade has two features I found that set it apart from others I’ve found on the market. The first is the slot for the rear view mirror. The slots edges are sewn with a binding to hold up well. And the Velcro tab on top will adjust to any size windshield for closure. The second feature is the extra fabric on the corners. I really like this feature. I’m able to easily tuck the extra fabric into the dashboard corners to fully protect it from the sun and heat. Tuck tuck tuck and it fits better than any other sunshade I’ve tried. We have a 2017 Toyota Sienna and we have several long folding windshield shades that we’re always tossing into the back rows as they are bulky and do take up space, and we prefer not having to shuffle them around in the front seat area. Not very convenient for when we want to use them. I saw this FSHAANY Windshield Sunshade for Toyota Highlander 2020-2026, Custom Front Windshield Sunshade, Foldable UV Blocking Sun Shield with Steering Wheel Cover, and thought this might be a good solution for our Sienna as we’d be able to keep the rolled up sunshade in the door pocket (very convenient), and the sunshade would be easy to put on and off (once you’ve learned how to twist and fold it to close it.) This sunshade fits our Sienna nicely and offers full windshield protection. The cover can also be used to keep the steering wheel from getting too hot, and while I’m not sure how much I’d use that as a hot steering wheel’s never been a problem for us, it does fit the steering wheel nicely and I might give this a try later this summer. Yes, this product is for a Toyota Highlander and I’m using it on a Sienna, but the windshield area is close enough in size to the Highlander to be able to use this product in our Sienna. A plus for us, this also works well in our Hyundai Santa Fe! Overall, for the convenience of this sunshade design, and for the coverage it provides, I give this 5 stars.

I acquired this sunshade for a 2023 BMW X3, as it has windshield dimensions that are nearly identical to the Mazda CX-30. The sunshade is the typical attached 2-panel design, but with an integrated slot to pull the shade around the rearview mirror that most competitors do not have. There is a small bit of hook-and-pile (Velcro) material at the corners of the slot to permit attachment of the two flaps around the rearview mirror stem. The "case" of the sunshade doubles as a steering wheel cover. The main pocket of the case opens at near the midpoint of the case, with a hook-and-pile fastener at the middle of the opening to keep the shades inside when folded. There is an additional, partial slot to fit the cover over the steering wheel, with an elastic strap that goes below the steering wheel stem to keep the cover in place. The elastic strap is of low quality and will probably lose its elasticity in short order, but not really needed unless you have the cover on the steering wheel in high wind conditions with the windows down. Otherwise, gravity and the tension from pulling the cover over the top portion of the steering wheel should suffice to keep it in place. Like the elastic strap, the shade material is not particularly robust, but it should last at least a year or two through normal use. It is thin, but the reflective surface is adequate to reduce the heat and sun-bleaching as designed. The reverse side of the shade is black. For an inexpensive shade, the steering wheel cover/storage case and shade slot for pulling the shade completely around the rearview mirror stem are definite pluses. Good product, overall.
