I had purchased these clamps for when my dogs knocked down items that needed to be glued back together. I needed clamps to hold the items together as the glue set; but, did not exert so much force that it could break items or make things snaps from the pressure. Unfortunately, the clamps slide a bit jerky with stops and starts, so when I am trying to bring them closer to hold the pieces, quiet often, the pieces come apart before I can get it there. The larger ones are not as bad as the smaller ones; but the smaller ones are the ones I need to use for smaller pieces. These would be fine for just wood working or holding material to a frame so you can work with it, but not good for the reason I purchased it.

Bought these as I needed some additional squeeze clamps and the set seemed to be the right size and price I wanted to spend. Overall these are light duty clamps and they work well for lighter applications. The pads on the clamps are good as they protect the surface you are clamping. They are easy to use. Only drawback I see with these over my heavier duty Irwin clamps is they are not strongly built to exert enough pressure to close gaps in thicker wood or metal if trying to bring pieces closer together. You would need much heavier built clamps with 300 Plus pounds per inch clamping force.

These were perfect for the first time using my quilt frame! This is my first big quilt for my daughter and with my terrible arthritis in both hands I wasn't sure how I would get the quilt to be tight enough for me to tie it as it should be done. These clamps are so easy to use and hold things in place exactly as I had hoped! I was so thrilled with the clamps that I have now ordered three more sets and they have worked perfectly! I would definitely recommend them for anything you want to secure tightly, but also be easy to use!

The larger of the two clamps is okay, although not as sturdy as other brand-name clamps. The reversible feature is handy, although not easy to use. (The squeeze grip doesn’t reverse direction) The two smaller clamps are doll-sized. Maybe useful if you were making a small jewelry box or something tiny? The bar of the clamp is about a quarter of an inch wide. I don’t know how practical it will be for most woodworking projects.

this product comes with 4 clamps in total. 2 large and 2 small. i really loved the large ones and they felt very sturdy. the small clamps felt a bit more fragile and easily breakable so i wouldn't use those on anything too large.
