I made this purchase after using a spring mattress i had for over 7 years hoping for a change in how i sleep and i wasn't disappointed When my package arrived it came in a thin case for storage, if you're looking to reuse the case it shouldn't be a problem and it being thin isn't a concern When setting up the mattress it was rather flat at first, only because of the way it is packaged, after awhile the mattress will puff up, or after washing The sheet cover that came with the mattress is a bit on the thin side but it does what it's supposed to do well The mattress itself is puffy and soft, even after almost two months of use from myself (being 130 lbs) it can become a little flattened when in use for long periods but it will puff back up in no time! I purchased the twin size, i sleep in a corner of my room where the ceiling dips in so i don't have a bed frame and only sleep on the floor, but even so it is very comfy, though if you aren't used to a futon mattress already it'll be tricky to transition to from a different mattress, though you could definitely stack the futon on top of one It is very easy to move and store away, perfect for when you need a portable bed like camping or inside cars/trailers, and a very affordable substitute to bulky beds for new home/apartment owners It also works as a seat and mat for floor activities or simply as a place to sit anywhere In terms of durability it doesn't disappoint, though the sheet it comes with is thin and susceptible to staining and dirtying quickly, but any other sheets work absolutely fine with it The mattress itself isn't safe from sharp objects so encourage caution when in high contact traffic, and it does tend to hold in smells a bit so it may need to be washed every so often Overall i give the mattress a 9/10, it is a very inconsequential purchase if it's only seeing use by one or two people and will last a very long time if looked after responsibly, though when in use by children it simply needs to be cleaned more often, but other then that its totally perfect as a mobile mattress for anything you may need it for! With personal bias, it beats sleeping on my old mattress by a large margin and helped to reduce the overall pain in my back after switching over May not be the same for everyone but it surely gets the job done for what it is!
