I was hoping for a nice set of wooden utensils and indeed, these feel great! You get a wide variety. They look nice and come in an attractive holder. Perfect. I handwash them -- it's generally not a good idea to put these in the dishwasher, though you probably could... They'll just lose the smooth finish probably. So if you want them to stay "like new" just handwash them, and if they ever start to feel dry or rough, just rub them down with any kind of cooking oil then wipe it off and they'll be smooth again. ... show more

All utensils have rough spots, as if they were not filed well. One had small pieces of wood sticking out. Would probably be able to find the same quality if not better at local 99 cent store.
