The quality of this raised bed seems good. It went together relatively easily, though we put the sides on backwards the first time (be careful). It looks nice. The woods is bare though, so may not last long outside if not stained or sealed. We haven't gotten around to that yet, but would recommend this item.

… over this raised bed. I know I am! It’s a great looking, versatile, planter box that will provide me years of enjoyment. Without having to crunch down in the flower beds or vegetable garden, the platform design makes gardening a breeze. Assembly was straightforward; ok for one person, but easier with two + a power drill. The hardware is good quality and the manufacturer provides a spare piece of each = a great, added touch. Made of quality fir, a solid wood for planters (after cedar and redwood), I decided to primer and paint mine using non-toxic weatherproofing to extend its usefulness and avoid the eventual, unsightly weathering (one more layer is pending, I’m waiting for dry weather). The height works well (hip high on my 5’6” frame) to keep ground rodents, chickens & dogs out. The one measurement not included in the web summary was the box depth of 8”. This won’t work for my tomatoes or any deep rooted vegis, but perfect for herbs, lettuce, flowers, etc. Once filled, two people can still move it throughout the garden (unlike ground-based planters). What makes this unique is the non-woven lining included. I only did a single coat of paint inside the box itself (paints chip), so the perfect fit of the lining will help keep the soil pristine for many years of enjoyment. Highly recommended, for young & old(er).

What's not to love? Assembly took me all of 30 min (with a power drill) plus 10 min of cleanup. It is sturdy, but still light enough to move around. I did some coats of tung oil, we'll see if that's enough to keep it looking as nice as it does now. The product photos are a little misleading (unless that woman is very tiny), I am 5'6 and it reaches my upper thigh at 30". Still a little bit of crouching, but much better than working on your knees in a regular bed. The hooks on the side are also a nice touch, might add a few more of my own. Can't wait until spring to actually try it out, definitely recommend!

As you can see from the photos, this raised vegetable garden does come in pieces & so there is assembly required. The instructions are easy enough to read, and once I got the pieces unboxed & laid out, total assembly time only took about 35 mins. I did use a power drill to help speed up the build process. Once assembled, the raised vegetable bed seemed sturdy & durable. It came with a black mesh lining to help with catching the soil. It also came with hooks for easy access to your gardening tools. Assembly was easy. I am 5'0" & 135 lbs & I assembled it by myself & didn't need an extra set of hands. I wish it was a bit deeper though, so I'll only plant vegetables with shorter root system. Over all, it's a nice looking raised bed. Especially great if you don't have the land to plant directly into the ground.

I love that it's actual wood wood and the smell out of the box is fresh wood and I feel like that tells you it'll be durable long-term and I am just excited to plant everything we have to start our herb garden outside! It was also a breeze to put together so don't stress you'll have this up in under an hour and can do it entirely by yourself too

This garden bed is made well and will last for a while. It looks great and keeps the dogs away from my plants. This garden bed will be a great addition to any garden. It is easy to move from one place to another and only took a few minutes to assemble.

I love that this is a tall raised bed! I have adorable cotton tails all over my yard, but they're not as cute when they're burrowing IN my raised beds. This is a decent height and good size for herbs as well as lettuce and spinach. I really appreciated the pre-punched holes for assembly and the ease with which I put it together. My other raised beds I built from lumber and I like them, but this was much quicker to assemble. That said I selected my own wood for the ones I built. This is listed as being "fir" and it feels sturdy, no warping or splitting. Some pre-made beds that were similar I've looked at were thinner and already had curves in the wood. The hooks are a cute addition too. I love not having to bend down to pick my lettuce!! Overall I'm really pleased with the construction and the quality.
