Love this wooden playset (very Montessori)! My child plays with the wooden knife and egg all day long. It’s adorable how the butter cuts into slices and the bread can be sliced too. The little coffee and tea cups are also a big hit with my toddler, but we try to tell her is fruit juice lol. It’s so much fun to watch my child explore pretend play and keep busy with this set. I got this adorable wooden bakery set to go along with a wooden coffee and espresso machine set for my daughter’s birthday. This set was surprisingly great quality and had very cute pieces. I was expecting more of a cheap plastic vibe but these exceeded my expectations.

This is a cute set of “pretend” wooden bakery items. It comes with a play knife. With that, pieces of bread and butter can be “cut apart (velcro) and put back together. There are also pretend drinks, jam, toast, and donuts. To keep everything together, the pieces can be put into a soft, drawstring bag (thank goodness). One just needs to make certain they can FIND all the pieces to put away. This is an odd thing, but I appreciate the fact that the drink straws are attached and cannot come out of the drink. The absolute only think that is missing from this set are some plates. How does one eat eggs without plates?

This set has some of the nicest play bakery items I’ve seen. They are all wooden and come individually wrapped in tissue to preserve them. It has a wooden “knife” that you can use to cut the loaf of bread and the butter (both through the Velcro). These are the only pieces that separate. The butter pieces are the smallest pieces in the set at 1 7/16 inches square, however, these are much larger than pieces in other sets. These might be a choking risk, but it is much less risk than other sets which I appreciate. This set comes with a coffee, tea, muffin, strawberry jam, butter, 2 pieces of toast, an egg, a loaf of bread, a knife, and 4 donuts with different color frosting and sprinkle combinations. It also comes with a cloth bag labeled “Fresh Bread - baked daily” for storage. The pictures on the site represent these well. They are so cute and sure to provide hours of imaginative play and increase fine motor skills.

This is so cute, and it's so well packaged to arrive without any damage. The box would be easy to wrap for a gift, and I love that it includes a bag. The velcro seems to be just the right amount of sturdy to hold together, pull apart, and hold up to continued use. This seems well-made, durable, and easy to clean, making it a great toy and gift in my opinion. I personally haven't seen anything like this, and I think it makes a great addition to the play kitchen.
