Good Target for Sharp Axe
Good, solid target for sharp axe or hatchet. Recommend wetting the wood (water spray) often until softened a bit. I built a wood stand and secured bottom with small rope to hold in place when axe hits. Works fine.

I messed this target up pretty quickly
The media could not be loaded. As a disclaimer I did not soak the target in water or treat it with any kind of oil, these were ideas I had to prolong the life of the target, without any soaking and just throwing axes and knives at a dry target it lasted about a month and a half. If I were to buy this again I would get a container to soak the wooden so that we would not splinter and crack as it did my first go around, it shipped quickly came in great condition and then what it was supposed to do it just seemed to get destroyed fairly quickly, and like I said this was without any soaking of the wood. If I were to buy this again I would do it differently next time ... show more

Cool target but expensive and the bottle opener was busted
Review Image by Greg Johnston Greg Johnston
Honestly after seeing this thing I am tempted to make one of my own. It’s simply a few 2x10s attached to some plywood with a stenciled target sprayed on. I am contacting the seller about the busted bottle opener and will update my review if they respond.

I Love This Target
I am very happy with this target. I find it to be exactly as described. It is well constructed with good materials and I was able to use it right after taking it out of the box. Shipping and delivery was fast! Also, I contacted customer service with a question and received a prompt, helpful, and courteous reply. I highly recommend this target and this seller. ... show more

More fun than I realized when I purchased it.
I bought this for my sweetheart for a Christmas gift, because she is the outdoorsy type and loves things like this. We built a backdrop wall to protect our neighbor's yard from overthrows, and this was one of the coolest purchases I've ever made! So I bought four more, and gave them to other people for Christmas gifts also. They all loved it! I bought everyone a very nice set of throwing hatchets and axes, and we are all having fun with competitions. An awesome buy for sure! ... show more

Cracks easy
Ultimately this is a lot of fun but for a $100 I could make this twice round. Obviously it’s not going to last forever but it’s already almost in pieces after just several plays.

Great product
In between my study breaks I love to go out back and practice my knife throwing skills. It's strong and sturdy, quite heavy though so be prepared. Great for de stressing and I will be pretty good at knife throwing in no time. So fun. Great buy.

Quality product, exceeded my expectations.

I will begin with my only gripe; the box it ships in needs more tape. My target arrived with the box open on three sides. At least it was easy to get out....but a little more tape would help. Other than that, it's all good! The bottle opener arrived secure also. The wood was better than expected. Backing is good 12 layer plywood, three 2x10s screwed to that. Nice grain on the boards, no knots in critical areas, and the knots it does have are quite small. I am using it for knives (photo) and axes/hatchets/hawks. I hung it on a tree for a couple weeks, frame is in the works. ... show more
