First off these are way smaller than the normal fans that go on top of wood burning stoves. Secondly, they no longer work and I’ve only had them for two months and of course the return window closed and I can’t return them. They just stopped spinning. Do not buy these.

A couple years ago I bought a single fan like this for my mica heater, which works well… I also have 3 different size Mr Buddy propane heaters…with our below freezing weather last month, I ordered the Mr Buddy portable heater + this dual fan - to sit on the kitchen floor pointed to my open cupboard doors under the sink to thaw my frozen water pipes & left it over night, checking thru out the night - I used twisty ties on the cage over the heating element, which was awesome…highly recommended

Item did work for the first 2 days, stopped working and never started again. I did hear once from the company when I first started the return. They wanted to make sure I was “happy” with their item. I told them it quit working after 2 days. Never heard from them again. The product did not get returned in its original packaging because it initially worked. Finally shipped it out and Amazon sent me an email stating if it’s not the same condition they will charge me. If it doesn’t work, it DOESNT WORK and I will not recommend this product to anyone.

I got this for my uncle he has a wood burner set up in his camper and he loves staying there more than in the house and he was upset that he didn't have enough wood to get him through so I ordered him this and he is beyond happy said it helps more than he can say it keeps him warmer longer with out the extra wood. Said it works great does it job and he highly recommends it.

The product seems to be very well made. It is very sturdy. Set up for the fan is easy. Just sit on top of the wood/coal stove and let the magic begin. I say magic because their is no electric power supply to the unit to make the blades turn. It's power is generated by the amount of heat your stove puts out, higher temp the faster the blades turn. It also includes a thermometer showing surface temp of the stove so that you don't exceed the maximum operating temp for fan. It really is a marvel on how it all truly works. It also comes with a pair of gloves to use if you need to move or remove the fan from the stove top. Word of warning though these will not work with stoves that have a metal casing surrounding the stove unless you raise the lid and place the fan directly on to the actual stove top. They do generate a moderate amount of air flow that will move heat around the room somewhat but don't expect a whirlwind effect, so don't expect a miracle. If you want that buy a larger electric fan and point it directly at the stove top and it will move heat around your whole home or garage. Overall I would recommend the fan to anyone with a stove that wants to move the heat around the room rather than just having it go straight up in the air as heat will naturally rise to its highest point.
