  • Works great for repairing the gasket on a wood stove door.
I got this because I needed to repair the seal on my wood burning stove door. This stuff works great, but it does require 24 hours to fully cure. This is really easy to use. All you need to do is to cut an angle into the tip of the applicator with a utility knife for whatever bead size your door requires. Then just apply a thin layer and allow it to dry for about 15 minutes until it is tacky and then it is ready to apply your door seal. Just make sure to clean off the old door gasket cement before applying the new. I like to use a steel brush to clean off the old gasket cement. You need a good clean surface for this to stick properly. At the current sale price of $7.99, this is a pretty good value for the money for this product. ... show more

  • Exactly as described. 10/10 recommend!
Needed to replace the rope liner contraption on the inside of our wood stove door and this worked perfectly for what we needed it for. My only complaint is the smell.. And I’d also recommend using latex gloves for when you want to rub glue..
