The tool itself seems to be well made but the gouges...WOW! Seriously I don't think it's tempered metal. Very cheap. I suppose if you were ONLY going to use it on Pine, Balsam or Bass woods it might work fine. As for hard woods forget about it. By the time I actually got thing to start chiseling it didn't carve it just tore a chunk out of the wood. So if you plan on using this on anything but the softest wood possible. Save your money.

It comes with quite a full range of carving heads. I love that it’s wireless. I don’t have to mess with a wire while I’m attempting to carve out a new project. Definitely works better with softer woods. It’s pretty easy to use and it fits pretty comfortably in your hands. The charge last a pretty long time. I was carving for about 2 hours and battery barely got to the half way point. Would recommend!

I bought it to cut a slot in the head of a rusty galvanized deck screw so I could back it out without destroying my window frame (I live near the coast). It worked (like a charm) and paid for itself. I'm sure it can do lots of other clever things, but that's all I used it for so far. It comes with tons of little attachments.
