This summer will be two years since we had our wonderfold W4 Luxe wagon. Honestly, we love it! What possessed me to buy this giant? Curiosity to see what the fuss is all about because as you probably hear Wonderfold is often called the diesel wonder wagon of the stroller wagons. I didnât expect Wonderfold W4 to exceed my expectations, but honestly if you have multiple kids spending entire days outside Wonderfold is insanely practical! Obviously, not all aspects of it are amazing because you probably already know this stroller wagon is huge and heavy. I will say: the WonderFold Wagon is not for everyone. Letâs take a closer look at all pros and cons of Wonderfold wagon stroller and most importantly: whether there are cheaper or smaller alternatives to Wonderfold. What is the difference between Wonderfold W4 Elite and Luxe? Wonderfold sells three options of W4 â Original, Elite and Luxe. W4 Original: is the most basic wagon with raised seats. It might be attractive to get it as itâs the cheapest one, but the canopy doesnât have an adjustable height and the parental bar isnât adjustable either. Honestly, just for the lack of these two features, Iâd go for an upgraded model. W4 Elite: a step up from the original one with an adjustable canopy, adjustable parental bar, reclining seats, and zippered panels. The only difference between W4 Elite and W4 Luxe: slightly larger wheels, leather handlebar and magnetic harnesses. Apart from the wheels, itâs honestly all gimmicks, so whether you want to pay an extra $200 for these features itâs up to you. I got the Luxe only because there was a sale on those models and there was no price difference. Wonderfold can drive everywhere. The soft rubber allows to for a comfortable ride compared to the hard plastic wheels on those standard pull wagons. It turns on grass, city streets, sidewalks, and itâs all easy to maneuver considering the size. Underlining considering the size, because letâs be real: it doesnât maneuver as well as a single stroller or a twin double stroller. Itâs not Wonderfoldâs fault, itâs simply not possible. Does it drive on sand? Depends. Itâs not easy, but itâs wasnât unbearably hard â you will get there I will say. I think people complaining that their strollers or wagons donât drive smoothly on sand need to get a perspective because not even all cars can get through the beach. The brake is easy to engage, but not something youâll accidentally press when walking. It isnât too easy to deactivate, but easily enough done with one foot. The canopy can be pulled from one side to another depending on the sun. Itâs a small thing but extremely useful. It can be folded away and stored using fabric holders on the sides of the storage bit and a strap that buttons onto the side of the frame. Storage Wonderfold is built for storage! In a normal stroller, you only have a basket underneath, but various models require you to lose the basket when you put a second seat. There are pockets everywhere, two pouches on both sides that can fit my purse, an extra bag for a diaper bag, storage underneath the seats and pockets for kidâs cups and snacks. Do remember that while you might be able to store a giant cooler or bag underneath the seat it will limit the exits and you might have to lift your kids to help them exit. Seats The biggest pro of Wonderfold is that the whole thing gives the kids a 360 view and is tall enough for the kids to stand/sit and safely see those 4ft tall exhibits and fences at zoo, museums. Itâs not possible to do in other wagons. The seats are attached via big strong clips to the top bar frame. They are good and comfortable and let the kids sit in their natural sitting position without being scrunched up. The seats can recline by pulling the clip further away (thereâs no indication of where to lock the seats in to get them to recline, so youâre guessing. It is a tight fit for the kiddos. My twin daughters are now 20 months old and their big sister is 4 years old, and theyâre very skinny and I still wish they had more arm space between them. Weight & Size How heavy is the Wonderfold wagon W4 Luxe? Thatâs the biggest drawback of W4 itâs extremely heavy. The videos of this product all show what look like real lifts of the wagon from pretty small moms, but itâs not happening. I can load this wagon up in our SUV myself, but you might need help with lifting. Does the Wonderfold W4 fit through doorways? It fits fine through most American doorways because itâs not wider than those double jogging strollers. Would it fit in Europe? Nope, nowhere. The biggest con is the size because it might not fit in every car. You need a very large SUV and even in cars like a popular family van Toyota Sienna is takes the whole truck and youâll need to fold the bar. Wonderfold Wagon Stroller: Verdict Do I think itâs a great stroller wagon? Absolutely, I truly understand what the fuss is about. If you like to bring the whole house and food for 10 days like I see many parents like to do, this is the wagon for you! The width and length of this thing are the same sizes as one of those jogger strollers, so you wonât have to sacrifice anything by getting it. Is it too much for short escapades? I think so unless youâre a mom of 4 under 3, but honestly, you can still manage without it. For all-day events, itâs pretty handy, as long as youâre not heading to Disney World (they have a no wagon policy). Overall, I would highly recommend!

I cannot get enough of it! Yes the price may be a bit way to high but is worth every penny, I sold my w4 OG to upgrade for my autistic son and I do not regret it at all. Yes is a bit heavier but all the new features are amazing. Is so beautiful, all the pockets are great, the new basket/cooler is such a perfect touch it keeps our drinks cold for a long period of time and the mesh on the bottom so perfect as well for snacks, quality is amazing, is so easy to push and take places, the seatbelt easy to put on and safe, love that I have an option to have more shade for him,This stroller is what every momma needs. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE LUXE PRO hands down!

Wonderful wonderfold. Great for containing my 3 children (5months-4). The only negatives I'd say are having a heavy kid out at the front makes it difficult to steer and the wagon is heavy and difficult to load in my van. I love having it set up in the garage and ready to go. I like how tall it is to keep my kids away from unknown dogs. I love the height adjustable handle for pushing. I love putting my baby down for a nap in it like a playpen at the park. I like all the different pockets for storage. It's extremely sturdy and I always get compliments on it when out and about. It's easy to push and extremely functional for our family.

Amazing stroller! I contemplated for a long time and finally made the purchase . Sooo happy I did. We have 2 grandkids one who just turned 4 and another who will be 2 soon and this has been amazing!! Weâve used at the zoo, Hershey Park etc. We bought the attachment food tray so they can have snack or lunch on the go. So much space so theres no fighting or crowding. We also purchased the add on beverage holder for the adult water bottles and coffee. It is large so keep that in mind but so worth it!

Perfect fit for my 5 year old, 3 year old & 1 year old. I bought the snack tray & weather mat (additional costs) & they are definitely worth it! My kids love their wagon and occasionally I take out the seats so they can sit without being strapped in. Although having the seats makes the wagon more spacious because youâre able to add things under the seats when out shopping or taking extra toys/blankets when going to an outing. It is a bit heavy but nonetheless I am still able to carry it and since the wheels are removable it can fit in the trunk of my sedan. Overall I definitely recommend the extra splurge on this wagon!

I love that this wagon has so much room and it rides very smoothly. Very good quality. Folds up easily and unfolds easily. It looks so nice too. My only qualm is how heavy it is but I guess thatâll happen with how durable it is. Itâs not easy to get into my vehicle because itâs so heavy. It also is so big it takes up most of my trunk. I got the big one because my older son gets tired of walking when weâre on big trips but I probably shouldâve just gotten the smaller one. But with the size of this one I can use it as a cart for groceries instead of having to touch the dirty carts at the store so take the good with the bad I guess.

I love this wagon! As a mom of three and one on the way the storage and space inside is incredible! I can remove the seats the have an open play pen for my youngest, and it holds the needs of my oldest. The downside is the weight itâs heavy for a pregnant mom, but with help I get it loaded in the car. The price difference from the actual website vs Amazon wasnât enough to deter me from buying from Amazon. The front zip flap is easy enough for the kids and our small dog to climb inside and be comfortable.

The media could not be loaded. The best investment itâs definitely a pretty penny, but itâs worth it ALL!! My youngest is almost two this October and she loves riding in her stroller sheâs able to look around, face front or back or even recline! I have also pushed my 8 year old and 7 year old with her and they all had fun!! Super easy to fold up, easy to store in your car and set up takes seconds! The strollerâs strong, durable and will definitely last forever!! Donât hesitate to make this purchase you wonât regret!!
