These boots could be described as "slip on" boots as well, because I can leave it velcro'd and slip my feet in and out of them. I did order a 1/2 size up, but it's not too big. They are toasty warm, have a water resistant materials (that looks like suede but it is not, thankfully), and a good gripping sole. I live in the northeast with below zero temps and lots of ice and snow, and these boots have been stellar. Price was very good, as I was looking at similar boots for $175+.
