Package arrived on time and I opened it right up to smell the bag, based on other reviews. No odor - no smell of any kind. There is a tiny desiccant pack inside. Bag was folded and wrapped tightly in plastic - creased when I opened it. But I packed the bag right away, stuffing the main section with packing cubes and toiletry bag, and stuffing the shoe compartment. I hung it by the handles in hopes that creases relax out. The designers of this bag did a great job. I'm impressed. I ordered black. The gold hardware gleams. The pockets are useful - 3 inside and one outside in the trolley sleeve. The handles look sturdy and the adjustable shoulder strap has plenty of holes for any length. The lobster claw clasps at each end of the zipper are a nice touch. Plus the 4 outside zipper pulls have holes large enough for a small lock! The shoe compartment was big enough for my knee bolster pillow PLUS 3 pairs of flat shoes (size 11)! Also put flat gallon baggies and a couple of flattened plastic grocery bags... Only wish the lining was light color, not black... I'll update this after my next trip to rate the sturdiness and durability if it's not a 5 star. I bought this for overnight/weekend road trip travel to complement my tiny Samsonite business underseat roller bag. I love it!

This bag is fantastic. I needed a larger carry on, without wheels, for an international trip. This bag is perfect! I am able to put a pair of hiking boots in the bottom compartment along with socks with some room to spare. The upper compartment is roomy with a zippered pocket as well as two other pockets inside. The bag is well constructed with a stylish gold zipper as well as a long well made shoulder strap. I am very happy with my purchase. Thank you!

We were heading for a lengthy trip abroad and I needed a good carry on bag for the trip. This one checked all the boxes when I was searching. But, once I packed it and actually made the trip, this was just not the best choice. It is flimsy and the strap broke before I had even made it to the plane. I like the material, and the design is great... it's just not durable. With all the options available, I would suggest making another selection and not picking this one. Mine is going to Goodwill!

I only bought this bc I was not going to spend 100$ on the Beis brand. This is much sturdier, and made to last. Shoe compartment is roomy, and can fit a lot of clothing in main compartment. I've brought it as carry on for an 18 hr flight. So worth!
