The trifecta: Ice silk coolness, hood has a drawstring, hood stays put with drawstring. I really wish all my other jackets were THIS one. I am not exaggerating one bit. Because I do not like my hood slipping every two steps I take. Because I value visibility when walking or working out, be in indoors or out. Because any fitness jacket -- meaning all of them -- should be ice silk. Ice silk literally makes me want to work out. It has this name for a reason! UPF rates the cloth for sun protection. For me, UPF 50+ is required because my skin reacts badly to sunlight, and I am allergic to most sunscreens; talk about a one-two punch. ... show more

I am 5 ft 1.5 inches tall and wear a 16W (16 curvy) in jeans. I ordered a 22 plus size because I didn't want it snug and it's perfect. It's honestly so comfortable. If I end up loving it this summer I'll be buying more. I would size up. It's light weight, made really well, SO soft. The fit is snug (which is why I sized up)...if you don't want it snug around your midsection go 2-3 sizes up. With medication I'm on, my skin has become even more sensitive to the sun. I can get a sunburn in the shade. My favorite use for this jacket is riding in the car. It protects my arms from the sun and it helps me from being too cold with the air conditioning. Lightweight. I like the full upperbody coverage, includingthe hood. Size uo if you want a looser fit. Or lose some belly fat like I need to, then it would be true to size. I got this for the uv protection. Not sure if it does that as I try to avoid walking during daylight hours (not a vampire) and I have darker skin.
