I work in and outdoors. I'm working on wet and dry surfaces. I need a good, sturdy boot to keep up with the beating I give it nightly at my job. These are very comfortable, sturdy, and keeps my feet protected for the most part. Issues come when I walk through wet grass and across wet surfaces. It's patchy that they are truly skid resistant. The floors I work on vary extremely. Some are smooth, some are course, sometimes concrete, sometimes grass, carpet, wood ... You get the picture. Sometimes I have no problems walking across the wet floors indoors and other times I have to be careful about slipping. It does extremely well on course floors and concrete but inside smooth floors beware. Also around the tongue area it lets water in. I notice this mostly when walking through wet grass or when it's raining. It does protect my feet from dropped objects, stubbed toes, and a high speed kid and doggo feet as I get home from work and get mauled. The material is very flexible to move with my ankles as I move around and work and doesn't rub at my skin leaving blisters. The material stains easily and by the time I had done one shift the boots had a big spot on them I couldn't get off. Overall I like them but I'm going to have to get another pair of boots for rainy days to keep my feet dry and slip free. Maybe I should just give in and buy military combat boots. My family always called my boots combat boots anyway. 😂 Update: 2 1/2 months into boot ownership. The insoles have completely disintegrated and I've had to buy new ones because they were destroying my feet and lower back. The soles of the shoes are wearing down greatly. These are not in for the long haul shoes. Probably another month or two I'm going to have to find another brand to try. I'm not overly impressed by these. They more than likely will not last to 6 months. ... show more

Bought for a spring trip to Alaska. True to size. They do get a little dirty, but scotch guard helped! They r a little heavier then I would like. They did keep me from slipping & dry!

These boots are great and so comfortable. Just wore them on a Boston and NY trip exploring all day. Downside is they are to big. I could probably go down a size or two. My heel is nice and snug from laces but the space where toes go is way to open, even if it was the right size and I was wearing thick socks my toes still flop up and down. Also there is a small hole over the foot where water can get it (which isnt a big deal unless you planned on the water-resistant feature). ... show more

I don’t write reviews - but I had to for this product. I wore these boots 2x ( for under 1hr each time and on paths) . And the second time the color started peeling from the boot. I reached out to the seller and explained the issue and they said the best they could do was a partial refund which was 1/3 less than the cost of the shoe - because they cost too much to make on their end. I REALLY wanted to love these boots. I was hoping for a cute boot with good function - but I received neither. Do not buy these boots unless you plan on keeping them on your shelve, because they aren’t good for much else. ... show more

Seeing all the reviews with knock offs I took a chance and I did get the exact boot that was pictured. Do not choose "buy from other sellers" and you will get what you are ordering. That must be what all people with bad reviews did. The boot feels sturdy and it just as pictured. It is suede though so I'm careful about what type of weather I wear them in ... show more

    • Most comfortable boot ever!
I am so happy with these boots. They were comfortable right from the start with no break-in period needed. And, they are very warm, even when it was -18, my feet were still toasty warm. I ordered a half size up so I could wear them with thick socks. My only regret is that I didn’t buy them sooner!
