UPDATE: Since posting my original review, the company sent me both the gold and silver ring, making the product well-worth 5 stars. The cape itself was nice and seems like it will stay on but there was no ring included so for just the cape it is EXTREMELY overpriced

First of all let me say it is nicely made , I saw nothing wrong with it . It is just not my style! I should have understood better what i was getting, to me it looked like sleeves were built it, I did not read it correctly, I was in a hurry so silly me that is not what a"shawl is ", basically it's a Cape that you drape over your sholders and secure in front. ...if I was run down hall fast it would fly up like I'm super woman (.not sure she had a Cape) but you know what I mean ..lol. anyways ...just not what I wanted. ... show more

Color: Purple Wrap With Silver Scarf Ring
Ok, so first off the color was beautiful. And as much as I wanted to love it, I could not as this garment was a weird fit on me. It just seemed like a drapey cape which I did not like as it did not flatter my body in any way. I thought about trying to sew the pieces together under the arms to make it fit better and to look like a shrug, but at this price point I didn't feel like I should put in the extra effort. Also I did not care for the ring that joins the front together as it also did not look right on me. I felt like it just accentuated the tummy area and made it look plumper and fuller. I am 5"2 & an 18 plus size and it offerred ample coverage, but I honestly think it would look much better on a slimmer person, like the model in the video. After 15 mins of unhappily looking at myself in the mirror I knew I had to return it ASAP! ... show more
