I've just opened up the bag, but when they actually said that it was too big to be delivered to an Amazon locker. I knew at that point that this may be the bag for me. I know just by sitting here looking at it I will not be sending this bag back. I will be very happy just by the size alone. I can carry everything that I need. I purchased the medium bag. If what I received is indeed medium, I cannot imagine how big the large tote might be. The size seems large enough. The tote is heavier than I expected, but feels okay when I put it on my shoulder. What I like about it are the various pockets to keep you organized, and the overall style. The tote/bag can go from casual to dressy. I ordered a khaki tote, but the color is almost light pink or mauve which I like enough to keep. THE GOOD: It appears to be an overall well made purse. Upon arrival the zippers all work, there are no loose threads, the lining is sewn in nicely. It’s nice and big. So, for a brand new purse it’s as expected. How durable is it? I’ll never know. THE BAD: It’s empty, and pretty heavy on its own. When I’m done dumping my life into it- I’ll need wheels! I know the weight is on the description, but I just wasn’t expecting that “feel” -my fault?! While the zippers on the front are functional, they’re a little sticky.. Im sure I could add something to them to help them slide a little easier... but I’m returning this so I wont tamper with them to find out! There’s a smell... it’s not overwhelming. If I LOVED this purse, I’d totally accept it! (We’re not all perfect now are we!) It’s got a leather-ish smell with a side of... fish??? I dunno... it’s not great.. but once you get your cosmetics and perfume in there... it could possibly be beat! Again, if I couldn’t live with out this purse... I’d forgive it! THE UGLY: Not the color I was after in any universe! I ordered the dark brown and this is more of a grey mauve color. (It’s not “ugly” but just not something I’d care to carry. So maybe they shipped me the wrong color... no problem! I love Amazon and can return it. But, I will not be asking for an exchange mainly due to the weight, color, and odor. This is the second time I purchased this purse, thats how much I like it. The first one lasted several years before the faux leather started bubbling up and peeling in one area. I love the size of it, very roomy. If you have a need for a nice large purse, this one is great. And, it looks really nice. I noticed they changed the fabric on the inside on the second one and it irritated me a bit, but I got over that pretty fast. The first one was a softer fabric, but now that i accepted tge change, its all golden in my book. I had actually purchased a used Michael Kors bag just before reordering this for the second time. Yes, I like this one more than the Michael Kors bag. Two time buyer is probably the strongest statement I can make about it. ... show more
