I bought these specifically because it stated "waterproof." I can assure you, they are not. Exactly 2 minutes in moderate rain and I could feel the water seeping in. Apparently whatever was used to attach the top to the sole is not waterproof because that's where it started seeping in. Any longer and my socks would have been soaked. They are comfy though so if you are only planning on wearing them in a light drizzle or frost then they would probably work. ... show more

These boot slippers are great! I have purchased ones like them in a different brand and wear them most of the Michigan winter. They are my house slippers but I do keep them on when I venture out places. I wear a size 6.5-7 on a normal and ordered the 6 (Euro 37) They fit perfect but I don't wear socks with them. They are soft and warm on the inside. I am sure I could wear a thin sock though. I paid more for the other brand and I like the fact that here on Amazon you can return them easy if they don't fit. If you are a half size order down. So glad I found my favorites again and may buy another pair just in case I can't find them anymore. ... show more

I bought these to take to Vienna. I figured they would be great to walk around the city and not too bulky. I was so surprised how light these boots are. I feel like I’m wearing slippers. I would say it’s a very generous sizing. I did size down a half a size as stated in the reviews. I still have room to wear heavy socks, if I need to. These boots are amazing. These boots are just what I wanted. I have 5 pairs. They are easy to put on and so comfy and warm. They are somewhat water prove just don’t go in Large deep puddle. They are easy to clean also. The sizing is pretty spot on. They keep my toes warm. If you wear really thick socks than adjust size. I wear a 7-7.5 shoe and bought a 8 it’s perfect. ... show more

Although there are many similar rain/snow boots on Amazon, I decided to order this one because enough people posted detailed reviews concerning size. I hate returning items so I read tons of reviews before ordering products (like shoes) to prevent dealing with returns. About 90% of my shoes are a size 8 1/2 B (medium width), but normally I order a 9 in any type of boot. After reading reviews on this boot, I went with my regular 8 1/2 and I'm glad I did- this is the right size for me whether I choose to wear thin or thick socks. The boots are a bit roomy and if I'd gone with a 9 I think they would have slid around on my feet and been uncomfortable. They DO feel like house slippers but seem well-made and durable- I bought these for a trip to Montana I'm going on in November. They'll be perfect for running errands in the cold/snow and even on the plane ride there (or easy/lightweight to pack if I don't wear them up). I'm glad I went this boot- and super glad I didn't have to return them thanks to reading the reviews concerning size! I like how comfy these boots are, however, they are not as water resistant as I had expected. After wearing them for about 30 mins in slightly wet conditions, the wet started to seep through.
