  • Soft, fitted sweater
Color: Black Size: Large
FIT: It is fitted and true to size. It is cropped, but not super short. The arms and are plenty long. I'm 5'6". 165 and small-chested with a good waist, long arms and a bit of a tummy. FABRIC and COLOR: It a thin cable knit that is stretchy and extremely soft. It is a true black. STYLE: It is a cute cropped style that will work well with high-waisted pants. The hood has a weird seam, that makes it look goofy pulled up, but is fine worn down. The strings are much longer than needed. The zipper works well and in function, I think it looks good unzipped or partially zipped. ... show more

  • Cozy Texture; Cute Cropped Fit; Easy Everyday Layer
Color: Black Size: Large
This zip‑up cable knit hoodie is such a cozy little find because it has that soft, chunky texture that feels warm without being heavy, and the cropped fit gives it a really cute, flattering shape that works with high‑waisted jeans. The knit looks beautifully done, and the zipper makes it easy to throw on when you’re running out the door or layering for cooler mornings. I like that it can be worn under a coat for an extra layer worn close to your body (not bulky) when it's especially cold outside. The sleeves have a nice, long length that makes it feel extra snuggly. I needed a shorter sweater to wear with shorter tops. This one fits the bill perfectly. ... show more

  • very soft
Color: Black Size: Medium
This is one of the softest sweaters I've seen. The knit design is attractive and the zipper functions smoothly. The stitching is well done and almost invisible, you really have to examine it up close to see it. I didn't realize it when I ordered it but this is a hoodie. The hoodie portion is well done and hangs naturally. I found no snags in the yarn and it fit as expected. It looks very good on my wife but she refused to model it for this review. ... show more

  • Excellent quality very well made soft comfortable & warm
Color: Red Size: Medium
It fits true to size. It was soft and had plenty of stretch was breathable. The color did not bleed out. the arms were tapered and it had a nice, thick, elastic cuff around the wrist. the zipper went up-and-down nicely, it was easy to hold on to to pull up-and-down, it had a nice string for the hoodie. Easy to grab, easy to pull closed and tighten. It was classy, it came right to the waist. So it's more like a crop top type sweater, no snags, soft, well stitched together. I would purchase this again, great for winter or fall! ... show more

  • Trendy Piece with Age-Appropriate Styling Challenges
Color: Beige Size: Medium
Let Me Be Honest: I'm 53, and when I ordered this, I was feeling adventurous about trying a trendy Y2K-style piece. The cable knit looked cozy, and I thought maybe I could style it in a way that worked for my age and lifestyle. Results were... mixed. Fit & the Crop Reality: First, let's talk about the crop length, because that's the elephant in the room. This hits right at my natural waist, which means there's significant midriff exposure if you're not strategic about what you wear underneath. At 53, I'm not particularly interested in showing my stomach - not out of shame, but just personal preference and practicality. I found I could only wear this over high-waisted jeans or high-waisted skirts where the bottoms met the sweater hem with zero gap. Even then, raising my arms or bending over created exposure I wasn't comfortable with in public settings. If you're cool with showing some skin or have a very toned midsection and want to rock it, more power to you. For me, it felt like this piece required constant vigilance about not revealing more than intended. Quality & Construction: The cable knit pattern is actually quite nice - it has texture and visual interest without looking juvenile. The zip-up feature works smoothly, and the material is a decent weight - not flimsy, but not heavy enough for true warmth. Think of it as a light layering piece for spring, not a winter sweater. The sleeves are a good length, hitting right at my wrists without being too short (a common problem with trendy pieces designed for younger body proportions). The Y2K Aesthetic Question: Here's where I struggled: the Y2K styling feels very young. The crop + hoodie + zip combo screams Gen Z fashion, and at 53, I felt a bit like I was trying too hard to recapture something that wasn't mine to begin with. That's a personal feeling, not a judgment - some women my age absolutely rock trendy pieces and look amazing. I just felt slightly costumey rather than authentically myself. Styling Attempts: I tried several combinations to make this work: With high-waisted wide-leg trousers and a silk cami underneath: This was my most successful look - the cami filled the gap, and the proportions felt balanced and age-appropriate for a casual dinner. Over a long tank or bodysuit with high-waisted jeans: Workable for weekend errands, though I still felt very aware of the crop length. Zipped fully with nothing underneath: Absolutely not for me - too much skin, too much self-consciousness. Body Reality at 53: he sweater itself doesn't cling, which helps, but the cut-off point draws attention exactly where I'd prefer less focus. If you have a straighter body type or feel confident about your midsection, this might work better for you. Practicality Issues: The crop length means this is not practical for most of my daily activities. I can't wear it to: Professional settings (I'm a literacy consultant - this would be wildly inappropriate) Anywhere I might need to bend, reach, or move freely without worrying about exposure Cool weather without significant layering underneath (which defeats the purpose of a light spring cardigan) Comfort: The material is soft but slightly scratchy against bare skin - another reason layering underneath is essential. After a few hours of wear, I noticed some pilling starting on the inner arms where friction occurs. Value Assessment: For the price, the quality is okay but not exceptional. If you're going to feel self-conscious wearing it (like I did), it's not worth it regardless of cost. This would work much better for someone in their 20s-30s who can style it confidently within the Y2K aesthetic. Bottom Line: This is a trendy piece that requires specific styling and confidence to pull off at 53. If you love crop tops, have the body confidence and wardrobe pieces to style it properly, and genuinely enjoy Y2K fashion, go for it. But if you're buying this thinking you'll casually throw it on for everyday wear, think again - it demands intentional, high-waisted pairing and possibly layering to work for mature women. Best for: Women 50+ who love trendy fashion and have the confidence to rock crop lengths, pairing with high-waisted bottoms for casual social settings where comfort with exposure isn't an issue. Skip if: You want versatile, easy everyday pieces; you're uncomfortable with midriff exposure; you need work-appropriate cardigans; you prefer classic over trendy styles; or you don't want to think hard about what bottoms coordinate. Real talk: I wanted to love this because I appreciate staying current and not dressing "old." But ultimately, it sat in my closet more than it got worn. I'd rather invest in a regular-length zip cardigan with similar cable knit texture that I can actually wear multiple ways without constant wardrobe calculation. Age is just a number, but crop tops require commitment - and at this stage of life, I'm choosing comfort and confidence over trends that don't quite fit my lifestyle. ... show more
