I took a chance on these boots with no reviews. I was not disappointed. I wanted plain ankle boots that had arch support and a wide toe box for natural toe splay. These boots were the only ones that i could find that checked all the boxes. They do have really good arch support and are really comfortable and my toes can splay as they're supposed to. The water resistance is a really nice bonus but i haven't tested their resistance yet. I use these for hiking. They work well. They are for men or for women so they were a bit wide. Men's feet are usually a bit bulkier so that was no surprise. I like it a bit roomy. It doesn't cause any discomfort. I love that they come with extra padding as a spacer just in case you need it if your feet aren't so wide. Mine aren't so i added that. That still left room in there but thats just a nice option to have. They're really nice shoes and i love them ... show more

These felt comfortable and could be easy to wear. I'm a size 9. I like wearing fuzzy or thick socks so 9W felt a little snug and too close to my toes on my right foot (the left was good). I would have kept them if I didn't buy them for the specific purpose of walking around. The color was also nice. I ordered the black ones in 9.5W. I figure black goes with everything. Let's see how it fits. I got the black pair (9.5) and the box came taped and the shoe looked like it was a returned pair. I didn't like that. They do however fit better than the size 9. ... show more

Didn't love these. They're not comfortable enough for hours of walking. I purchased these for travel but ended up taking my other boots instead. Also, they're a little difficult to pull on and off.

Size: Order your regular size, I can't imagine ordering up because these shoes are huge as it is! So when I first saw these and wanted to see what opinions people had on them, I died at one of the reviews because they are big! I have edema in one of my feet and it's difficult finding shoes that don't look like something your grandpa would wear at the nursing home. They almost look too comically big, like I feel like one of the kids in kingdom hearts with their ridiculously huge shoes. Meanwhile my normal sized foot is like "Where the hell are we?" If you have naturally wide feet, I'd say get these. Update: Since they were just a tad too long for my normal size, I went a half size down and they fit perfectly! ... show more
