Awesome hiking shoes, I wore them straight out of the box for a very steep hike and they were comfortable the entire 5 hour hike. There’s lots of padding in them, so even without breaking them in I never got blisters. My feet stayed completely dry, even stepping through mud and very large puddles. 10/10 recommend ... show more

At my age, I did not want heavy weighted boots. Walking around in these. breaking them in at home, these are not any heavier than my heaviest athletic shoes.     • Comfortable Hiking Shoe compared to others I tried
Maybe it's because I don't spend a loot of money on shoes, so I typically wear lower quality hiking boots. However, I was really impressed with how comfortable these are. I wish all my shoes had this kind of cushioning. I find myself wanting to wear these over my everyday shoes because they reduce my back pain. They are a little warmer than I would prefer, but I am guessing I will appreciate that during hikes in colder weather. I am really happy with my purchase. I was really sad when they didn't use this cushioning in their regular tennis shoes. I totally would have bought more of this brand. ... show more

Excellent overall boot, lightweight. While it’s called a hiking boot, wear it to store just walking around, supports ankles and foot, no slippage due to well made bottom sole traction. AV in CT
