My jean size is normally a 6 or 8 in Levi’s. I’m 5ft 7in and weigh 154lbs. I was debating between a medium and large after reading reviews. A friends of mine had this skirt and told me that it has a lot of give so if I’m right on the fence between sizes, I should be aware. I ordered two skirts, black and green pleated with belt, both were standard to each other, I decided to go with a medium and I’m glad I did because there’s still a lot of give. I’m def no small but I may have been able to get a small. Sure it would’ve been too tight and probably not even flattering but, like I said, I could’ve gotten into it. Not very helpful to know other than I’d just like you to realize the give, to size down if between sizes, and that they are good quality. Not costumes looking at all. I only add that because I’ve bought lots of pin up clothing and realized it wasn’t really intended for anything other than a costume upon arrival. I used this for a pin up contest. It looked great. When I wear it in real life, I get tons of compliments, and it’s versatile for a night out or dressy work stuff. It’s comfortable enough to wear all day in my opinion. Glad I bought two.

I'm 5'4 and 170lbs with an athletic figure. This skirt was sized just a tad big but in reviewing it I put "fit as expected" because I do think if it were any tighter it would not be as adjustable and good as hiding weight in middle section. Needless to say I do love it. Because I am short and the skirt is slightly big, it allows me to adjust it how I want and make it high waisted or sit right at my hips. I really do suggest you size up! The belt that it comes with is very cute too and perfect for other outfits (belt is detachable and has stretch to it!). I'll be wearing this skirt with the "long sleeve scoop neck pleated blouse top" also found on Amazon. I do see some reviewers have noted the skirt falling apart after wearing.. But I'll only post an update if it turns out to be a bad purchase after I start wearing it!

This is a nice pencil skirt that I often wear to my office and to court (I’m a lawyer). The only downside is that I think the belt makes it slightly less versatile, and the belt loops don’t leave you the option to not wear a belt. Overall, it’s flattering, it’s professional, and it’s a good choice.

I will post a photo next time i remember to. I love this skirt its perfect for the office and has just the right amount of stretch, the elasticity in it allows me to sit at my desk and it bounces back into shape when i stand, unlike other skirt i.e Hybrid co skirts where they stretch and remain stretched so im constantly having to pull it up. I will be buying more...probably in every color. Lol I probably could have went with large and been fine but I bloat during my time of the month and have a post baby pouch so i factored that into my selection.

I just purchased the second one, in black. The first one was gray. I love these skirts! They are so comfortable and so flattering. The material is very stretchy, yet soft. I am 5'2, 145 pounds and have a mama-pouch...(my bones are heavy) I normally wear between S and M. I ordered M. It is a little loose, but in a good way. And it just looks so amazing on me! Perfect for work. Buy it. Seriously.

I love this skirt, the most, the belt I love and it also complements your body magnificently. The material is very stretchy, so it makes the skirt very comfortable to wear. It also goes to your knee level so it is great to wear in the office.

A bit shorter than I expected and wider in the waist. I was hoping for a true knee length and it's not on me, I'm 5'8". The belt also doesn't have holes that accommodate sizes over about a 10 but they sell an XL size so the belt should work for larger sizes. The belt is so tight and it makes the part of the skirt under the belt puff out and look like an upside down muffin top. This looks so cute in the picture and slimmer women might work it much better. It just doesn't look that good on me with the tight belt, large waist area and being shorter on the length.
