So many great points about this tote! It has a main zip closure, and just enough pockets. The zippers work smoothly and do not have sharp edges. The tote size is perfect!! Its not too big to use as a purse on weekends, but big enough to fit all the essentials for work in one bag. The shoulder strap is long enough to crossbody comfortably (even with a winter coat) and not tend to sliding pursestraps when youre walking into work with an open umbrella and a hot coffee! :-) The style is a good balance of utility and simplicity. I bought two so I can be neutral over winter with gray, and have a splash of blue this spring/summer. Both are beautiful - very well made and sturdy. (I also really like that this bag does not announce that I am part of a special brand-name club :-) Its super cool - functional and comfortable without weighing me down!! Great value! ... show more

I love the look of this bag and all the pockets. The zipper for the main pouch could be better, which is why I deducted one star. Very pleased with this inexpensive option. PROs: - Small zippered outside pouch (perfect for keys). - Inner, zippered pouch. - Two open pockets inside (use for my sunglasses and a small notepad). - Fairly large main pouch, which fits my makeup bag, pen/pencil bag, my large wallet, and cell phone. - Double shoulder straps or one large, adjustable cross body strap which is also removable. CONs: - Zipper for large, main pouch goes into the bag, so it can get stuck in the open position. You have to physically fish the zipper out of the purse and hold it a certain way to zip it shut. It isn't the worst thing ever, but kind of inconvenient. Not sure why they can't put the zipper in tighter, so that it doesn't droop into the bag?!? (See photo to understand zipper issue.) - The open pockets inside are usually designed so that a cell phone can fit into them. Unless you have a small, folding cell phone, I doubt it will fit in the open pockets. Basically, I just let my cell phone float around loose in this bag. ***** Overall, it's a great bag for the price (sturdy, cute, and not too big). These errors are design errors and could be fixed to create a perfect bag. ... show more

I’ve had this bag for over a year and while I’ve taken a few breaks from using it, I keep coming back to it. It has just the right level of organization. Still looks new and has even gotten some compliments. The choice of ways to carry with either the long strap or the top handles add to its versatility. I wish it came in navy. The canvas is sturdy but lightweight which makes it more comfortable to carry. The top zipper is a tad too long and that is my only complaint. Wonderful bag! I was looking for a medium zippered tote bag with a crossbody feature. The bag is nicely sewn and the fabric is of good quality (not paper thin and not prone to tears). The main zipper closure opens smoothly, so all zippers are functional! It is easy to open the bag, without the need to grab on the side of the bag. It's a very good size as well and is not too deep, so it's not a 'cave purse'! Love the back zipper pocket! The detail of leather on the handles makes it more pretty than your standard canvas tote and the metal hardware seems durable and is a pretty color. It's lightweight, simplistic and beautiful. Cute, but NOT grey. I liked the idea of brown straps on a grey bag. Unfortunately this bag is brown. Brown straps, brown bag. Nice quality though. But don’t buy it if like me, you wanted a grey bag.

I love this little tote bag. I typically like to carry very light with a small wristlet or sling bag. If I need to carry more on a certain day such as a glasses case or water bottle, etc, I will just throw my smaller bag in a tote bag with my other items and this is what I use this bag for. This tote bag is on the smaller side, so check your measurements but it’s perfect for my purposes. I love the thicker straps and rustic look. I can throw it around my car without fearing it’ll be ruined. I also love that it has a zipper at the top. It’s very comfortable to wear on my shoulder and I had no neck pain using it. I needed a purse to carry my iPad with a keyboard case and schedule book. Personal items were a plus but I hate big bulky purses which easily become too full or a catch all. This was the perfect mix of accessibility and room for basics without becoming a lead weight I must carry everyday. I had fun with my mom/grandmother’s collection of antique buttons. But as an artist I had a hard time choosing if I wanted to paint it, embroider it or use the buttons. It has so many possibilities and it’s cute on its own.
