I wanted to try out a pair of "yoga mat" slippers like these Pevinos so that I could stand on my feet for 2-3 hours at night when I'm cooking and cleaning up the kitchen. Initially, I got the size 8 (Euro 39) as that is what I typically wear, but those fit like a size 7, so I sent them back for an 8.5 (Euro 40). They fit absolutely perfect. I tried them out in the kitchen the other night, and was amazed at how comfy these slippers are! My feet don't slide around at all, and the toe thong is the perfect length. I find that many slippers these days have TOO long a toe thong, so the slippers just flop around in an unsafe manner. These fit me as if they were made for my feet. On top of which, I saved a PILE of money, cuz I don't have to buy a professional chef's kitchen mat to put on the floor. These slippers do the job just as well, preventing fatigue, and keeping the circulation in my lower legs going so I survive 3 hours on my feet. As a final note: they are ADORABLE!! I purchased these Pevino women’s orthotic flip flops as a replacement for my old Nike Celso Plus sandals that are no longer made, and they’ve been a solid alternative. The foam sole is dense with just enough cushioning, making them comfortable for all-day wear. The footbed has a nice balance of softness and support without feeling too squishy. The overall fit is slightly wide, but not overly so — it fits my foot comfortably without feeling loose. The straps are soft and flexible, which is a big plus since they don’t rub or cause irritation, even with frequent wear. The arch support is decent, but I do wish it was a bit more pronounced, especially for something marketed as an orthotic sandal. Love the light colored top layer that contacts my feet. Stays cool in the sun. Black tends to get too hot in the sun when I take them off to sunbathe. But not a deal breaker. So many fun colors. I LOVE these flip flops! I bought them for a trip and ended up wearing them every day, all day. The colors look even better in person. I bought the light pastel multicolor and they go w/ most of my summer wardrobe. The sole is thicker so they is more support than other flip flips. I worried that they would stretch out, but they are holding up great! There is a little arch support which was a surprised bonus. They stay on well and my foot stays in place much better than most flip flops so Im able to walk normally. I wear flip flops at least 8 months out of the year w/ my normal clothes, and my slippers are even flip flops! I have had tons of pairs of flip flops over the years and these new ones are in my top 3 pairs. They are true to size. These are easy to clean and arent too noisy when you walk. I love these flip flops! They have a yoga mat feel to them and are lightweight. I saw a lot of reviews mentions that there was too much length in the strap of the shoe but that makes it perfect for someone like me that has wide feet with a normal arch. I’ve been wearing them for the last week since I received them and they seem like they will hold up very well. If you have a slender foot, this is probably not the shoe for you but if you have wide feet and need a cushy shoe then I think you should give these a try! I normally wear a size 9 or 9.5 and they fit perfectly when following the provided size chart since the length I needed was 10.2 inches. As you can see, I was lucky enough to have what I refer to as “working feet” or “Wilma Flintstones” and bunions (thanks Mom! 🥹) so finding any shoe that is comfortable for me is difficult. I like these flip flops but they are a little disappointing comfort wise. I LOVE the way that they look and that’s the primary reason that I purchased them but they are not as cushiony as I expected. My experience is not how others described in their reviews on these shoes as far as them being cushy and comfortable. The foot bed is kind of hard and doesn’t have much give so I think it will take a while for them to conform to my feet. Another issue is that the straps are a little loose which I had read in other reviews before I ordered them. It’s not too bothersome though but it would be nice if they fit tighter on my foot so they don’t slide around as much. They actually fit perfectly otherwise. The personalized size that was suggested for me when ordering was an 8 1/2 which is what I usually wear and these just happen to come in my size so that made it easy. Many flip flops don’t come in half sizes so I was glad that these did! My main issue with these flip flops is that the arch supports are uneven between each flip flop. One of them is perfect and totally comfortable and the other is way too high of a bump and presses into the arch of my foot in a painful way. Once I have them on for a while I kinda get used to it but I would rather it isn’t like that. The difference between the arch support bump is visible so I guess it’s a manufacturing defect. Not really worth going through the trouble of returning them. These flip flops are also louder when walking than many other flip flops I have worn and I already expected that with these from some of the reviews I read here prior to purchase. Not a big deal though. With all this being said, these flip flops are very attractive, I have gotten lots of compliments on them and I will continue to wear them for the rest of the summer regardless of some of the issues that I have listed in this review. They are a fairly cheap pair of flip flops so I suppose you get what you pay for. I do still enjoy having them because they match with almost everything that I wear.
