Fit: This fits really nice on me and I’m so pleased! I’m 5’5 and 195ibs and the large was still a bit roomy for me but I feel if I went with a medium it’d be uncomfortable with the padding. Comfort: The mesh on this is a bit scratchy, but it’s not horrible. If you wear a thin long sleeve shirt underneath it would work just fine but I can bare with it. Otherwise the material is very breathable and would work great under sweatshirt’s or hoodies which I’m so happy with! Appearance: to be honest I wouldn’t be opposed to wearing this by itself, but I honestly got it as a base layer an to wear hoodies or tshirts over it. If you decide to wear it over a shirt though I’d say it looks okay! Protection: if I had to rate this alone out of 5 I’d give it a 3. I can see the padding holding up okay in a crash, but the material of the shirt itself is questionable. It’s quite thin, and I could see it tearing quickly in a high speed crash. Hopefully that’s something none of us would ever have to worry about, but it’s something we have to consider. Overall: A solid affordable alternative to higher priced gear. Would I upgrade when I have the money? Probably, but for now this will do! ... show more

I am 5’2” , 135lbs. I have broader back/shoulders so I went with medium. Fits perfectly and it is very breathable and I’m sure would be good for summer rides with a shirt under or a sweatshirt over it in the winters. All the armor pieces fit perfectly and isn’t loose. For the pricing point, I’d say 5 stars for the overall fit to my body and for peace of mind in the summers. As a female it’s hard finding gear that fits me, nicely. If I’m being honest though, I’d give it 3 stars in the protection department. I’m not sure how it would do in a slide, the material is very thin. I just hope I never have to find out. This is definitely a lightweight amount of protection. The breathability is great, the fit is comfortable. If I could change anything, it would be to have AA rated protection inserts and the fabric for the thumbs to be a little longer; I noticed it was cutting off circulation when I had them on for a long period of time. ... show more

This armored motorcycle shirt is decent but not my favorite. I like the mesh panels to keep it from being too hot on warm days. The silicone band on the inner edge of the bottom keeps it from rolling up. So overall, the material feels pretty comfortable. The armor is easy to get in and out, but once it is in, it doesn't move around a ton, which is a good thing. I like the zipper has a fabric flap at the top to keep it from digging into your neck. I also like the subtle, but present reflective stripes since every bit of extra visibility helps. What I don't like is the wrists and thumbholes. Both feel cheap and I don't expect the thumb holes to last. There are no pockets so if you choose to wear this alone on a very hot day, you have no where to store things on your person. For me, the fit isn't great either. It's not bad, but the waist is way too loose, which causes odd bagginess on my back. The chest is good, but the shoulders are to narrow, causing the neck to stretch horizontally into more of a boat neck look. Overall, it's not bad, but it isn't my favorite. ... show more
