I am usually skeptical about buying "chunky" knits online because they often arrive thin or smelling like chemicals, but this cardigan was a pleasant surprise. First off, don't panic when you see the package. It comes vacuum-sealed flat as a pancake. Once I opened it and threw it in the dryer on "air fluff" for 10 minutes, it puffed right up and the wrinkles fell out instantly. Here is why this is a win for me: The Weight & Texture: This isn't a flimsy, see-through sweater. It actually has some heft to it (hence "Outwear Coat" in the title). It hangs beautifully because of the weight, and the cable knit texture feels substantial. Most importantly: It is NOT itchy. I wore it over a tank top and it felt soft against my arms. The Length: I am 5'6", and this hits me mid-thigh. It covers the backside perfectly, which makes it the ultimate partner for leggings and boots. The Pockets: Finally, pockets that are actually functional! They are deep enough to hold my large phone and keys without weighing down the front of the sweater or making it look saggy. The Color: I got the Beige, and it’s a beautiful, creamy "oatmeal" shade. It’s a true neutral that doesn't have those weird yellow undertones some beige clothes have. Verdict: It feels like something I would have paid double for at a boutique. It’s perfect for a freezing cold office or running errands on a crisp fall day. I ordered this cardigan on a whim, hoping it would be comfy and cute. While it's a polyester cable knit cardigan, it's so much more. I have very long arms, and the sleeves are plenty long. I ordered a medium (5'8", 155lbs) and it's large enough to completely wrap in the front. It looks cute with pajamas as well as jeans and a tank underneath.
