A while back, I promised myself that I was finished buying sweaters (or knits in general) that aren’t 100% cotton or 100% cashmere, but I had a hard time finding a cotton or cashmere cardigan in the weight and colors I was looking for at a reasonable price. I’ve liked other Amazon Basics I’ve ordered, so I (hesitatingly) ordered this one. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. The fit is exactly what I wanted, and the weight of the knit is perfect for my purpose. I am a teacher and always need something to put on and take off easily as the temperature in my room (and building) varies in an unpredictable way. I now own this cardigan in MANY colors, and I’ll probably order more. I take one to school with me almost every single day now. I wash them all gently and don’t put them in the drier. They DO show a bit of wear. but overall, considering the price and, most especially, the fact that I wash them much more often than I probably need to or should, they’re holding up pretty well. However, if (when) any of them start looking shabby because of how much I wear and wash them, won’t hesitate to order replacements. This is kind of like the perfect white t-shirt for me…I expect to have to buy replacements just because I wear them all the time and, l just don’t like how items like this look as much after a while no matter how carefully I launder them…new ones are just going to be necessary from time to time. and at this price, I can afford that.. I don’t expect to replace them each year, but I also don’t expect them to hold up forever (which IS what I would expect from 100% cashmere). So, as long as these are available (and as long as the quality and fit doesn’t change), I’ll be a fan and will keep buying them. I will say that when it comes to white clothes, I am very picky. The white one is NOT bright white, which is what I wanted, but it does look white enough with most of my dresses. It’s definitely not cream or off white, and most people would say it is pure white, but just be aware that it isn’t. Overall , these cardigans are working quite well for my purposes, and I absolutely recommend them.

I’m an elementary teacher and you never know what the temperature will be like… on any given day there can be a 10° change in temperature between the beginning, and end of the school day! As a result, I’d like to have cardigans. This was way better than I expected. Great quality which pleasantly surprised me at such an affordable price! I actually ordered two more different colors! Definitely recommend

This is a beautiful sweater that I bought two sizes up and I am glad that I did. I have found sweater like this run tight and this was no exception, and I prefer mine loose so I bought an X-large and it’s perfect. It has lots of tiny little buttons and it’s perfect for spring and fall.

I bought my usual size, and...it is just too small. I'd size up at least one size if you want a fitted sweater, and at least two sizes if you want any ease at all. The color is vivid and cheerful. High marks for that. The texture is not good for me--a bit rough and plasticky, but your mileage may vary depending on your own texture sensitivities.
