I SO wanted this to work for my 20 lbs bernedoodle but she was too big. I ended up giving it away to my mom who has miniature yorkies and it works great! The sleeves are a bit short. First two pictures are with the yorkies, the third is with the bernedoodle.

Sleeves are short, pocket isn’t well anchored so your dog or cat will lean way forward, the snap is flakier than your college best friend, but it is very warm and soft.

I like it. My dog likes to sit in my lap at my desk and it's just enough for her butt not to fall out. I call it my kangaroo pouch. She's a terrier/ chihuahua mix and maybe 12 lbs?

I was concerned it didn’t have a sheep fleece in the pocket. However, my little foster puppy didn’t mind one bit. The soft material is still comforting enough and he was happy to be carried around in the warmth of the fleece. The pocket is spacious so I would order your normal size. Another feature I liked was the zipper inside the carrying pouch. If the puppy is dirty, but the sweater isn’t, you can detach it and wash separately. Or wash separately for sanitary reasons. You never know with puppies 😆. The sweater is comfy, but you look a little funny due to the big kangaroo pocket. To me it wasn’t a big deal because I got it for the utility, not the fashion. It being comfy was a plus in my book! Definitely a must have if you are a foster aficionado like me 😆, and tend to get singleton babies to raise 🤓😉 ... show more

Sure, this sweater isn’t the most flattering on and the sleeves are a tad short, but my two Yorkies absolutely love it! The pouch is lined and is extremely warm. It’s plenty deep as well. Perfect for walks or warming them up after a cold trip outside.
